Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Batman #7 (DC Comics) – Victor Fries and the Joker are introduced to the Absolute Universe!

Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Marvel) – It’s a new volume for the classic character and a new start always has us wanting to see what’s new and different.

Behemoth #3 (Dark Horse) – The series follows individuals swallowed by a kaiju and their attempt to survive and escape. It’s a fun and nice twist on the disaster/kaiju genres and so far has definitely delivered something new.

Destroy All Humans They Can’t Be Regenerated A Magic The Gathering Manga Vol. 3 (VIZ Media) – The series has been a fascinating manga about people playing Magic: The Gathering.

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Jinx #1 (Image Comics/Skybound) – The new spins on the classic “silent” G.I. JOE comic have been fun so far and we’re interested in this one that has Jinx with 20 seconds-and 20 pages of real-time action-to escape a Cobra base.

Kaiju No. 8 B-Side Vol. 1 (VIZ Media) – Spotlighting the sword swinging Hoshina!

Remember Us To Life: A Graphic Memoir (Ten Speed Press) – graphic memoir exploring one woman’s search for identity as she slowly uncovers the truth of how her Jewish relatives “disappeared” during World War II.

Romeo Vs. Juliet A Kill Shakespeare Adventure (Gemstone Publishing) – The world’s most famous lovers are now sworn enemies dueling to the death! In this Shakespearean Western, warrior-for-hire (and pregnant) Juliet Capulet is hired to protect a border town nunnery from the evil forces led by her ex Romeo.

Transformers #19 (Image Comics/Skybound) – Megatron is back.
