Mattel and DC are teaming up again. Mattel and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products have announced a multi-year licensing agreement featuring DC’s entire library. Mattel has been awarded the global licensing rights to develop and market a wide range of DC-themed action figures, playsets, accessories, role play products, and adult collectibles starting in the second half of 2026.

Mattel previously held the rights but lost them about six years ago to Spin Master and McFarlane Toys. Mattel still produces DC-themed toys aimed at girls and preschoolers.

The deal comes as DC again ramps up its movie production with Superman being released later this year and many more announced.

Exact details of the deal have not been released and questions remain about figure and collectible lines at McFarlane Toys which features statues, action figures, playsets, and more.
