Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!
Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in
Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!
Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for
Absolute Wonder Woman #3 (DC Comics) – We’re intrigued to see where this series differs from the main Wonder Woman and see the “Absolute” world fleshed out more.
Black Canary: Best of the Best #2 (DC Comics) – The first issue was interesting with Black Canary taking on Lady Shiva and there’s some solid motivation. Overall, the first issue has us wanting to check out what’s to come and how it all plays out.
Dust to Dust #1 (Image Comics) – A serial killer during the Dust Bowl has us intrigued.
G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #312 (Skybound) – The series has been over the top fun as Cobra Commander, Serpentor Khan, G.I. Joe, and now Destro battle it out.
Hellhunters #1 (Marvel) – Ghost Rider fighting Nazis. Nuff said as to why we’re excited about this.
Justice League Unlimited #2 (DC Comics) – The first issue was fantastic with a grand vision and an interesting take on the Justice League. There’s a solid positive take on the superhero concept that has us excited to read more.
Kidpool/Spider-Boy #1 (Marvel) – We’re hoping this is the Marvel version of DC’s Super Sons.
Metamorpho: The Element Man #1 (DC Comics) – Al Ewing and Steve Lieber teaming for Metamorpho? Yeah, we’re in.
Timeslide #1 (Marvel) – It’s a tease of what’s coming in 2025! Every year is interesting with this concept.
Ultimate Black Panther #11 (Marvel) – There’s a tease of a new villain plus the new Sorcerer Supreme has added something to the mix.
Uncanny Valley #7 (BOOM! Studios) – The series has had amazing art and an interesting world that mixes the real world with cartoons in a Who Framed Roger Rabbit like concept.
Void Rivals #15 (Skybound) – Hot Rod has entered the chat.
West Coast Avengers #2 (Marvel) – The first issue was fun and we’re excited to see Firestar being added to the team and the fallout of her time with Orchis.
