Sideshow has announced a new licensing partnership summoned forth from ancient texts and poised to unleash evil! Sideshow shared that its upcoming project is inspired by the influential horror-comedy classic Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn.

Terror awaits Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda when they go for a romantic vacation at a remote cabin in the woods. Ash unsuspectingly plays a tape containing readings from the Book of the Dead, AKA the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, and unwittingly summons an evil force. Now he must contend with possessions, deadites, and something lurking in the cellar…

Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Bruce Campbell, Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn is considered both a sequel and a remake of the original Evil Dead film. Its intentional blend of comedy and horror elements made it a hit with fans and critics, cementing its place as an enduring cult classic movie.
