Batman: Gotham by Gaslight gets a new statue from Sideshow

In DC Comics‘ classic Elseworlds story Gotham by Gaslight, Batman must uncover the identity of Jack the Ripper in 19th-century Gotham City. 

Inspired by this iconic tale set in an alternate reality, the Batman: Gotham by Gaslight Premium Format Figure by Sideshow captures the story’s dark and foreboding atmosphere. 

The Batman: Gotham by Gaslight Premium Format Figure depicts Gotham’s new guardian angel crouched atop a Victorian-era Gotham City rooftop as steam billows from surrounding pipes. He keeps his grappling hook at the ready while using his detective skills to track down the serial killer who has framed him for murder.

This mixed-media statue has detailed sculptural elements as well as a fully tailored fabric cape. Sideshow has announced the Escape from New York license

Sideshow has announced a new licensing partnership for 2023. The company has shared that its next high-end collectible project draws influence from none other than John Carpenter‘s 1981 misanthropic movie masterpiece, Escape from New York.

S.D. Bob “Snake” Plissken. A Lieutenant in the Special Forces Unit “Black Light.” Two Purple Hearts. The youngest man to be decorated by the president. Then he robbed the Federal Reserve Depository, and was sentenced to a life sentence in the New York Maximum Security Penitentiary.

Snake is about to get his ass kicked out of the world, but when Air Force One is hijacked by anti-government insurgents and deliberately crashed behind the walls of Manhattan Island, he finds himself unwillingly drafted into a new covert mission. With micro-explosives implanted in his neck, and only 22 hours to save the president, the clock is ticking…

Sideshow unleashes The Lost Boys’ David in a new figure

A seemingly unassuming Californian town, the idyllic coastal community of Santa Carla, harbors a dark secret. Beyond the vibrant boardwalk and glittering carousel lurks a predatory gang of vampires…

Inspired by the 1987 cult classic film The Lost Boys, the David 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Sideshow masterfully captures the likeness of actor Kiefer Sutherland in his iconic role as leader of a vampiric gang. The figure comes with both a neutral portrait and a fanged vampire portrait, which feature detailed, sculpted hair styled in David’s signature blonde mullet.

David wears a custom-tailored, movie-accurate fabric costume. His outfit is layered with an undershirt, a faux-leather jacket, an overcoat with decorative medals and buttons, and faux-leather pants. 

Fans can recreate many memorable scenes from the movie with an enjoyable range of accessories such as three takeout boxes filled with rice, maggots, and worms, plus an ornate wine bottle.
