San Diego Comic Convention has announced that San Diego Comic-Con will not be happening as normal in 2021 due to COVID but instead is getting a digital edition as well as a “mini” convention in the Fall. They have announced that an in-person convention will take place over Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 26-28, 2021. The convention will take place at the San Diego Convention Center. It is the convention’s hope that by the Fall conditions will permit larger public gatherings.

Comic-Con Special Edition will be the first in-person convention produced by the organization since COmic-Con 2019 and their first since COVID-19 began.

Details are still being finalized including badge cost, attendance capacity, and more related information. We’ll have more updates as they’re provided.

Comic-Con at Home, the virtual convention, will take place over three days, July 23 to 25 and will be free to attend.
