The Walking Dead will End with Season 11 in 2022 But Getting More Spin-offs
Skybound and AMC have announced that The Walking Dead television series will come to an end in 2022 with a 24-episode eleventh season.
But, don’t despair, with the ending comes something new as there will be spin-offs and new series to look forward to.
In 2023, a spin-off series centered around Norman Reedus’ Daryl Dixon and Melissa McBride’s Carol Peletier will launch. Showrunner Angela Kang will return with Scott Gimple to helm the series.
Also in the works is “Tales of the Walking Dead” series. Gimple is also developing this anthology series with individual episodes or arcs focused on new and existing characters, backstories, and other stand-alone experiences.
Beyond that, there’s even more being worked on.
The season 10 finale of The Walking Dead will air on Sunday, October 4th at 9pm and will be followed by The Walking Dead: World Beyond, the newest spin-off, at 10pm. Fear The Walking Dead will air its sixth season on Sunday, October 11.
