Ryan Ferrier, Priscilla Petraites, and Marco Lasko Take Over Rat Queens
Kurtis Wiebe has taken to his site to update on the future of his creator-owned series Rat Queens. He admits he’s pretty burnt out on it and that a new creative team will be taking over in April 2019. The series has had its share of controversies.
Wiebe announced that Ryan Ferrier, who lettered the series since 2017, will be taking over writing duties. Ferrier has shown he has the humor for it and I recommend you checking out D4ve for a taste of that.
Priscilla Petraites will be taking over art duties and is joined by Marco Lesko who is handling colors.
The new team will take over in April 2019 with the one shot Rat Queens: Swamp Romp and then full-time with Rat Queens #16 in June.
Wiebe also announced that he’s forming a new creative company, Beast and Bone Studios, with the current Rat Queens artist Owen Gieni. That means new series’ from the two.
