Donald Glover’s Deadpool Animated Series Isn’t Happening
It received a straight to series order from FX but even that couldn’t stop the animated Deadpool series being written and produced by Donald Glover from going off the rails.
The network released a statement that the series isn’t going forward as is due to “creative differences.”
Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s Deadpool animated series,” they said in their statement. “FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on Legion, which will continue.
The show was to air on FXX and was supposed to be 10 episodes written by Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover. It was originally announced in May 2017 and was supposed to debut in 2018.
