New York Comic Con 2017: Dynamite Brings Charlie’s Angels to Comics
Once upon a time there were three very different little girls who grew up to be three very different women with three things in common: they’re brilliant, they’re beautiful, and they work for a mysterious man named Charlie. Thanks to a new partnership between Dynamite Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, they now have something new in common: they will all reunite for brand-new adventures in Dynamite’s upcoming Charlie’s Angels comic book series, slated to hit shelves in 2018!
The 1976 Charlie’s Angels television series was created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, with industry legend Aaron Spelling serving as Executive Producer for the show during its 5-season run. The iconic series followed the crime-fighting adventures of three powerful women working in a Los Angeles private detective agency for the mysterious and unseen Charlie Townsend. The smash-hit series saw more than 100 episodes, and became a cult hit for decades to come thanks to subsequent syndication and DVD distribution deals.
