Where the Data Ranks 2017’s Comic Book Films

Wonder Woman has dropped to second place after its third week and the film sits at $571 million wordwide and has outearned Suicide Squad which opened $62 million higher and is outpacing Man of Steel. The film had the second best third week for a Warner Bros. film. In other words, it continues to kick ass.

Already, there year is an interesting one with three clear successes and a whole lot of mixed otherwise. Wonder Woman, Logan and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have done well this year, The LEGO Batman Movie and Smurfs: The Lost Village are in that debatable area, and Wilson and Ghost in the Shell are generally disappointments.
