New York Comic Con Eliminates 3 and 4 Day Tickets

New York Comic Con sent out a flurry of emails today in anticipation of New York Comic Con 2017. The convention sent out Fan Verification emails to those who already have accounts. The profiles are a must for purchases and helped curtail scalping during last year’s convention. For those without profiles, they’ll be able to create one on April 19 and it’s needed if you hope to purchase tickets for this year’s convention. Fans with a 2016 profile will get a chance to pick up a limited number of tickets before the general sale.

The biggest news is that the convention will NOT be selling 3-day and 4-day tickets, there will ONLY be single day tickets. The reason for this is the Javits Center is under construction which is causing the convention to have less space than usual and by selling individual tickets they hope to get as many people into the show as possible.

The date for ticket sales has not been announced yet but will take place on a weekend. New York Comic Con 2017 takes place October 5-8.
