In this episode of Comic Book Men, the guys help Bryan take a dip into the icy waters of collecting by visiting a”JAWS museum.” A roll of super-powered toilet paper comes through.

With the previous episode being so good, it’s easy to be disappointed by this episode which goes back to the formula of some interesting items being bought or sold and then the guys heading out on some adventure.

In this case, the items being sold are interesting in their rarity and the history. One involves Bruce to come in who really brings knowledge and history that’s needed for the rest of the segments. It’s cool to hear some history and why items might be rare and the market in general. We usually don’t get that for most segments of the sort.

The guys then head to a Jaws museum which is cool to see in that I didn’t know it existed, and it shows how collecting can be really expensive. Again, it’d be nice to hear more about the items themselves and some of the history of the collecting instead of just how much items were worth.

The series showed a bit of originality last episode, but is back to its normal business just one episode later.
