This political action thriller has kept me on my toes every issue and each month I look forward to reading a new issue.  We’re still following the Russian KGB sleeper cell in the lead up to the kidnapping of the President and now we know what to expect as to what’s happened to them.  There’s few comics that keep me on my toes and has twists and turns with every issue.

The comic is cerebral, brutal and tense with fantastic art and a mix of crime procedural with an action thriller.  I can see this one on the the small screen as a hit tv show.  Here’s hoping for a long run that keeps up the twists and turns.

• PIGS #5 – See above
• Heart #3 – I’ve read the issue and as a mixed martial arts fan, it’s fantastic.  Definitely gives you the rush of watching live fights.
  
• The Last of the Greats #4 – Josh Fialkov’s fantastic Machiavelli meets superherodom.  I have no idea what’s comic next, but know it’s going to be good.
  
• The Strain #2 – Think the vampire genre is played out?  Pick up this series from Guillermo Del Torro.  The first issue floored me at it’s quality.
  
• Dark Matter #1 – I’ve read it.  Great sci-fi.
  
• Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #1 – I’ve dug IDW’s previous Transformers series.  Now we get two!
