LaViaz Mobile and Gen Con LLC sign 2-year contract extension, announce Gen Con Indy Mobile for Android
Seattle, WA (July 28, 2011)‹Gen Con LLC announced today that they have signed a 2-year contract extension with LaViaz Mobile, based in Carmel, IN, to develop mobile applications for Gen Con Indy. The nation’s largest gaming convention is scheduled for Indianapolis August 4-7. Concurrently, LaViaz Mobile announced the availability of Gen Con Indy Mobile for Android . Gen Con Indy Mobile will allow attendees to synchronize the latest version of the event catalog on their Android devices as well as Apple’s iPhone family of smartphones while at the convention. They will also be able to “mark” events as favorites and tell their friends about events they are attending. The application will also feature integration with Facebook and Twitter, popular social networking sites and maps of all the venues. Gen Con Indy Mobile will be available as a free download from the iTunes App Store and Google¹s Android Market.
