Sid & Marty Krofft And Angie Everhart Unite At Comic-Con On Friday, July 22
SID & MARTY KROFFT AND SUPERMODEL/ACTRESS ANGIE EVERHART
TO HEADLINE EXCLUSIVE PANEL ON FRIDAY, JULY 22 AT 10AM
IN ROOM 23ABC ONLY AT COMIC-CON IN SAN DIEGO
(Los Angeles, CA) – Sid & Marty Krofft will appear at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday, July 22 to take part in a panel to discuss their past, present and future. The panel will begin at 10 a.m. in Room: 23ABC at the San Diego Convention Center and will be hosted by supermodel/actress Angie Everhart. “When Angie was getting ready to shoot Happily Divorced (on TV Land with Fran Drescher) — which airs on July 27th by the way — we met on the CBS lot” said Marty Krofft. “Now that she has a young son, she has once again become very interested in kids programming. When I found out that the Krofft shows were a huge influence on her growing up I thought she would be great to host our panel at Comic-Con so I asked her and here she is.” Sid & Marty Krofft changed Saturday mornings forever when the sibling puppeteers unleashed colorful characters like H.R. Pufnstuf and The Bugaloos on a generation of sugary-cereal-fueled kids growing up in the 1970s and ’80s. They will debut a brand new SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS: SEASON 1 DVD collection on September 6, the second release in their exclusive new partnership with Vivendi Entertainment. The arrival of SIGMUND in September will cap a busy few months for the Kroffts. It began in April with the launch of www.sidandmartykrofft.com, the online home for all the latest news from “The World of Sid and Marty Krofft.” One subject they are sure to touch on in this panel is the recent announcement that DreamWorks Animation is bringing the beloved 1970’s television series Lidsville to the big screen in a feature film. The Kroffts will also update fans about the H.R. Pufnstuf feature that is in development at Sony. Sid, Marty and Angie will be available for a select few interviews immediately following the panel in Pressroom 22. After the press interviews, Sid, Marty and Angie will be in the Huckleberry booth #3449, signing autographs from 1-2:30PM. There you will find Sid & Marty Krofft’s Secret Stash…a host of limited edition items ranging from artwork, t-shirts, action figures, 3D lenticular photos and more for sale. There will also be an exclusive free promo poster available to fans on a first-come, first serve basis (exclusive to Comic-Con) in support of SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS: SEASON 1 DVD.

AbOUT ANGIE EVERHART
Angie Everhart has returned to acting, modeling and being a sought-after spokesperson after spending almost two amazing years devoted to her infant son. She recently guest starred on Happily Divorced (TV Land) with Fran Drescher and Angie’s comedic side was evident in her hilarious role in Topher Grace’s feature film Take Me Home Tonight. Angie was not idle while at home caring for her baby – she will soon be debuting Ever, a unique line of women’s hair products, later this year. Angie skyrocketed from high school mascot to stunning supermodel. She graced the covers of Elle and Glamour and was the first redhead to be on the cover of American Glamour, all by the time she was 18. She was cover girl on Sports Illustrated’s most popular issue, the swimsuit issue, four times. Angie made the transition from the runway to the big screen in 1993 when she co-starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Last Action Hero, followed in 1995 by her starring role with David Caruso in William Friedkin’s Jade. Everhart continued her film career co-starring in films such as Bordello of Blood, Another 9 ½ Weeks, Bandido opposite Matt Craven, and CLOUD 9 with Burt Reynolds. In addition to over 300 sky dives around the world, Angie has been lit on fire for a stunt show, successfully raced cars, won golf tournaments and loves equestrian sports. One of her most exciting adventures was reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. She created, developed and hosted Conquering Kilimanjaro with Angie Everhart, a documentary following Angie on her climb.
