ComicConBox To Include Exclusive Detective Comics #474 Exclusive Variant Cover by Dan Panosian In July

Detective Comics #474 variantWizard World, Inc. and DC Comics have announced that Detective Comics #474 with variant cover by Dan Panosian, an issue which marks the first appearance of Deadshot, will be included in the July ComicConBox. Monthly subscribers will receive the color variant cover while new subscribers can select a virgin cover edition as a gift, available only through ComicConBox.

After the Batman and Robin have put the Penguin behind bars, they split ways as Robin goes back to college. In prison the Penguin brags to Floyd Lawton/Deadshot how he is about to escape again. He is about to demonstrate with his laser lens monocle, when Floyd suddenly grabs it from the Penguin and cuts a hole in his prison cell wall and escapes. The Batman visits Boss Thorne to end the “cease and desist order”put on him. Then the Ghost of Hugo Strange visits Boss Thorne for a second time.

Bruce Wayne and Silver St. Cloud have a lunch date and bump into Commissioner Gordon at Gothams Exhibition Hall (where Silver works) when they learn of Deadshot’s escape and is bent on killing the Batman. That evening while the Batman is on patrol a bullet whizzes by just missing him. The Batman chases Deadshot which ends at Gotham Exhibition Hall and captures him in a giant typewriter there.Silver is still there working late and witnesses the battle. She calls out to the Batman. He turns and they have a moment of recognition. Silver then realizes that Bruce Wayne is the Batman.

Panosian is a graphic designer who specializes in comic books, advertising and storyboards based in Los Angeles. He has worked on dozens of titles, including Marvel’s Thor, Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk and many others, and Image Comics books WitchBlade, Prophet, Cyberforce and more.

Capcom To Feature Street Fighter V At Wizard World Gaming Throughout 2016

Street Fighter VWizard World, Inc. and Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced an agreement to feature the highly-anticipated Street Fighter V fighting game at Wizard World Gaming events throughout 2016, beginning in Portland, Ore., from February 19-21 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Event attendees can visit the Capcom free play area at Wizard World Gaming shows to play Street Fighter V. Additionally, at the main event stage, gamers can compete in a tournament for $3,000 in cash as well as other prizes, with the action streamed live online for a global audience.

Wizard World Gaming Portland kicks off a season-long series of gaming-focused events which will coincide with Wizard World comic con shows throughout 2016 in the following additional cities: St. Louis (April 1-3); Minneapolis (May 6-8); Philadelphia (June 2-5); Sacramento, Calif. JLA #1 VariantWizard World, Inc. and DC Comics have announced that the JLA #1 with variant cover by Tyler Kirkham will be available in the March ComicConBox.

While out on a drive, Barry Allen investigates a strange blue glow coming from a house, and ends up encountering Jasonar and Saranna, beings from the dimension known as Kalanor. Changing into the Flash, Barry learns that these aliens come from another dimension which has been under the rule of Despero, a despotic ruler who has access to super weapons. Jasonar and Saranna had come to Earth to build a device which would absorb the weapons’ power source. Offering to help, the Flash calls the Justice League together for a meeting in order to help Jasonar and Saranna in their mission to stop Despero. Wizard World Store Launches With Exclusive Comic Books, Collectibles, Licensed Products

The Walking Dead CGCWizard World, Inc. has announced the launch of Wizard World Store, a marketplace for Comic Con fans, collectors and general geekdom. The site offers exclusive limited run signed comic books that Wizard World has co-produced for its pop culture festivals over the years.

Wizard World Store features signed and graded copies of a select number of the popular limited edition exclusive variant cover issues of “The Walking Dead #1” and Marvel titles from Wizard World events from the past few years, as well as collectibles and merchandise generally available only at the shows.

Some of the featured products already available at the launch of the site include the 100th Anniversary “X-Men Special #1” Exclusive Variant Cover by Jorge Molina ; “The Walking Dead #1” Exclusive Variant Cover by Mike Zeck and Wizard World Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Limited Edition GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Tokyo Vinyl Green Ranger.
