Pre-Order Guantlet and Get a Digital Comic

Gauntlet-Print-CoverWarner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that when consumers pre-order Gauntlet, they will receive a limited-time, exclusive free gift, an original digital comic, Gauntlet: Darkness Calls from DC Entertainment, which details the origins of the Gauntlet’s most vile master Morak. The comic will be delivered on September 3, 2014, the day the game is released.

Consumers who pre-order the game through select retailers will also receive unique, in-game weapons. Morak’s hordes will tremble when the Warrior dons these horrific implements of mayhem!

Gauntlet, a modernized version of the celebrated dungeon crawler, will be available for the M.S.R.P. of $19.99 via digital download for PC, offering full support for SteamOS and the upcoming Steam Machines shipping the second half of this year. The game will lead the launch of WB Games Vault, a direct-to-digital portfolio that will deliver paid games across multiple digital networks.

Gauntlet, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, innovates on past titles while staying true to the brand’s legendary format. Players select from four classic fantasy-based characters: Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie, or Elf. Upon selecting a playable character, the gameplay is set within dungeons where the object is to fight through the chambers slaying evil creatures and completing challenges. An assortment of special items and magical relics can be located in each dungeon that can restore the player’s health, unlock doors, and aid the player in surviving longer in the Gauntlet by bestowing special abilities. The enemies are a vast assortment of fantasy-based monsters, including ghosts, grunts, demons, spiders, sorcerers and skeleton warriors.

The Cold, Cold Heart Story Add-On introduces new locations including Wayne Manor and GothCorp, taking players on an ice-cold journey as Victor Fries encounters Batman for the first time. Players will have access to all new gadgets including Thermocharged Batarangs and Thermal Gloves. Batman is also equipped with his powerful Extreme Environment (XE) suit to take down Mr. Freeze and his Cryo-thugs in hours of new story content.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition Available Now!

Today Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition is now available for digital download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.  Developed by Armature Studio, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition enhances the core pillars of the previously released handheld version of the game with high-definition visuals, an all-new map system, new enemy encounters, difficulty levels, and batsuits.

Previously only available for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, and created as a companion game to Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition features enhanced high-definition 2.5-D graphics and, 5.1 surround sound. Players will be able to guide their way through Blackgate prison with the new navigational system created for this version of the game. In addition, they can suit up with the exclusive Zero Year Batsuit skin which players can unlock by registering for a Warner Bros. ID account.

Set three months after Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman is summoned to restore peace and order within the walls of Blackgate Prison. Players will explore the depths of the island penitentiary as Batman investigates and realizes that there is more to the henchman uprising than initially meets the eye.

Batman: Arkham Origins – Initiation Challenge Map Trailer

On December. 3, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be releasing the Initiation Challenge Map Add-On for Batman: Arkham Origins on the PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE online entertainment network from Microsoft, Steam and Nintendo eShop for $6.99.  The Initiation Add-On focuses on Bruce Wayne before he donned his cowl, and introduces a new challenge campaign with four unique challenge maps and two original skins — Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne.  Players who have purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass and are connected to the Internet will have instant access to the content.

Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test.  Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Fans will face fresh enemies along with an epic final test to prove their worthiness to Bruce’s greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.

Available on the PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE, Nintendo eShop and Steam for $1.99, the Black Mask Challenge pack allows players to take on Gotham’s most dangerous crime lord in two all new challenge maps: Lot Full and Hidden Facility. All players can defend the city as Batman, and those who own the Deathstroke Challenge Pack can also choose to play as Deathstroke in this new challenge map pack.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Cell Blocks Gameplay Walkthrough

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today has released a new video, Batman™: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Cell Blocks Gameplay Walkthrough, just in time for the game’s worldwide launch tomorrow, October 25th on PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system.

The Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Cell Blocks Gameplay Walkthrough video is narrated by Armature Studio game director Mark Pacini who highlights a level in Blackgate Prison while explaining level design, controls, combat and Batman’s investigative and detective features.

Interactive Entertainment has released the Batman: Arkham Origins – “Personal Mission” Launch Trailer.  The launch trailer sets the tone for visceral combat, an expansive Gotham City and action-packed story players can expect to see as they suit up as the young hero known as Batman to take on Black Mask and eight deadly assassins. Batman: Arkham Origins will be available on PlayStation 3 system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Wii U system and Windows PC will be available beginning Friday, Oct. 25.

Batman Arkham Origins Mobile Trailer

Coming soon to iOS and Android (Holiday 2013), Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment are proud to announce the mobile edition of Batman: Arkham Origins.

Play as Batman as he fights his way through Gotham City’s most dangerous locales and encounters a number of DC Comics’ most deadly assassins. As you progress, you’ll be able to upgrade your character’s skills and fighting tactics, but you’ll also be able to unlock a number of unique Batsuits by earning in-game currency and rewards.

For fans who also own a console version of the game and are registered for a Warner Bros. ID (WBID) account, they will be able to access exclusive bonus content that is not available elsewhere.
