Inhumans Get Uncanny with Charles Soule and Steve McNiven

the_uncanny_inhumansIt shouldn’t be a surprise that Marvel is going to push hard for the Inhumans. With their higher profile in Marvel’s television and upcoming 2018 movie, the company is launching a new series featuring the classic characters. April will see Uncanny Inhumans written by Charles Soule and art by Steve McNiven. The series will be more of a “street-level approach” to the characters where as Inhuman, also written by Soule, is more of an epic.

Soule last collaborated with Steve McNiven on last year’s Death of Wolverine. As you can see by the released image, the series will feature Black Bolt who is currently missing in the Inhuman series. Black Bolt has revealed himself in Avengers and New Avengers which are both eight months ahead in the Marvel comic universe timeline.

The initial villain will be the time-traveling Avengers nemesis Kang the Conquerer.

This is the third Marvel series to feature the “Uncanny” tag, as it joins Uncanny Avengers and Uncanny X-Men.
