From Young Justice: Phantoms to Young Justice: Targets

Queen Perdita has been kidnapped! Mysterious armored assailants have snatched the Vlatavan royal out from beneath Bowhunter Security, leaving Green Arrow and Black Canary poisoned and comatose in the process! Now a rallying cry echoes around the globe, and across super-teams, to band together and rescue Perdita! Continuing the story of Young Justice: Phantoms, now streaming on HBO MAX, is the six issue, digital first Young Justice: Targets.

Written by Young Justice: Phantoms showrunner Greg Weisman with art by storyboard artist Christopher Jones, Young Justice: Targets will be available in comic shops on July 26. DC Universe Infinite subscribers will have early access to the digital first comic, as Young Justice: Targets #1 will debut on the premium digital subscription service on June 14. Plus, each issue includes a bonus story detailing previously unseen adventures from past seasons of Young Justice!

Debuting July 26, the debut issue features a variant cover by Meghan Hetrick and a 1:25 variant cover by Travis Mercer. New issues will be available on DC Universe Infinite for 30 days before they are available in comic shops.

With a movie coming, Black Adam is getting a new comic series set to launch June 21st. Black Adam is written by Christopher Priest, with art by Rafa Sandoval, and covers by Irvin Rodriguez.

There is no forgiveness for Black Adam. This is the reality Teth-Adam, immortal man of indomitable will, must face when he discovers he has been infected with an incurable plague destroying his immortality. Haunted by the specter of centuries of dark deeds, Black Adam transfers his powers to a worthy successor who will redeem Adam’s legacy and defend their ancestral homeland of Kahndaq, only to subsequently become mystically “handcuffed” to him when Adam’s plague is arrested, giving birth to perhaps the most volatile and dysfunctional super-team in DC history!

RV9 is a five issue series from writer Ben Goldsmith, penciler Travis Mercer, inker Miguel Angel Zapata, colorist Maria Santaolalla, and letterer Justin Birch, and published by Mad Cave Studios.

Mad Cave Studios Announces RV9

Writer Ben Goldsmith (The Seance Room) and artist Travis Mercer explore the futuristic streets of Italy in the year 2055 with, RV9. This fast-paced spy thriller bleeds with intrigue as colorist María Santaolalla (Unholy Grail, Brothers Dracul) and letterer Justin Birch (Knights of the Golden Sun, Road of Bones) round out the creative team.

RV9 follows former assassin, Velveteen, who is on the run from the Order of the 9, the organization that took her from her family and forced her into a life of secrecy, violence, and death. Now, after years of running, she is bringing the fight to them. With help from an American hacker, Jasper, and a rookie officer with an attitude, Inspector Pazzi, Velveteen will use everything she was taught by the Order of the 9 against them.
