NYCC 2024: Marvel announces Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell from Steve McNiven and Charles Soule

At the Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski Panel at New York Comic Con, the Marvel Comics Editor in Chief was joined by best-selling artist Steve McNiven and New York Times best-selling author Charles Soule to reveal an epic new Daredevil limited series launching next year: Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell.

Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell will mark McNiven’s first major Marvel Comics work in nearly a decade. Joining him is no stranger to Hell’s Kitchen—Charles Soule, who had a classic run on Daredevil in 2015. Following their acclaimed work together on Death of Wolverine, this superstar creative team reunite for a bold vision of Daredevil in the same spirit as what McNiven did with Old Man Logan. Set in a Marvel Universe future on the brink of collapse, the series introduces a grizzled, older version of Matt Murdock.

Marvel reveals Weapon X-Traction variant covers

It’s the summer of pop culture’s favorite frenemies: Deadpool and Wolverine! Just in time for Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film this July, a special new team-up saga runs across eight Marvel titles this summer as bonus backup tales! Written by Ryan North and drawn by Javier Garrón, Weapon X-Traction begins in July’s Incredible Hulk #14 and continues through August in various issues of current ongoing series. Fans will also find that each issue containing an installment of the saga will have a special Weapon X-Traction Variant Cover.

Incredible Hulk #14 will have a teaser variant cover that uses Garrón’s promotional art for the story, while the remaining titles with Weapon X-Traction backup stories will have covers with artwork in honor of the upcoming film and drawn by some of the industry’s hottest artists including Steve McNiven, Ryan Stegman, Jorge Molina, Cafu, Declan Shalvey, and David Nakayama.

Celebrate Scrooge McDuck’s first-ever Marvel adventure with Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime #1 variant covers

This June, Disney comic book icon Uncle Scrooge headlines his first-ever Marvel book in Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime #1. Written by Jason Aaron and drawn by an incredible lineup of celebrate Disney comic book artists like Paolo Mottura, Francesco D’Ippolito, Vitale Mangiatordi, and more, this one-shot blends the world of Uncle Scrooge with the hallmarks of Marvel Comics storytelling.

In addition to covers by Alex Ross and Lorenzo Pastrovicchio, Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime will have a fortunes-worth of variant covers by artists including Peach Momoko, John Romita Jr., J.
