Skybound Reveals Corpse Knight Variant Cover Series by Nimit Malavia

Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics have revealed variant covers from renowned artist Nimit Malavia for Corpse Knight.

The debut issue of the original new series from theteam of writer/co-creator Michael Chaves, artist/co-creator Matthew Roberts, colorist Rico Renzi, and letterer Pat Brosseau, hits comic book shops on April 22, 2026, perfect for fans of White Sky, King Spawn and The Darkness. 

The themed covers by Nimit Malavia each feature a Corpse Knight character framed by stunning stained glass and will be available as 1:25 incentive variants across all six issues of the original new series.  

War ravages France, but a young girl named Foy lives in relative peace with her father… until tragedy strikes. As Foy struggles to fend for herself, she’s granted a miracle—her father returns from the dead to protect her.

Now, they embark on a sacred quest, confronting murderers, wild animals, wandering armies, and black magic plaguing the countryside. As Foy comes face to face with the dark side of miracles and the secrets of the Corpse Knight, she must question if the man by her side has always been a monster… 

In addition to the 1:25 incentive variant cover by Nimit Malavia, Corpse Knight #1 has a main cover by Matthew Roberts and Rico Renzi, an open to order variant by Jae Lee, a 1:10 incentinve “storybook” theme cover by Tonči  Zonjić, a 1:50 incentive cover by Andrea Milana, a 1:100 foil incentive cover by Stephanie Hans, a die-cut helmet cover by Matthew Roberts, a blank sketch cover, and an I Hate Fairyland Team-Up variant by Stipan Morian.

‘R.C.,’ file name Hector M. Salazar is the new Drone Operator. He hails from Boyle Heights in East LA, and he is to unmanned remote-control aircraft and land robotics what Roadblock is to the Ma-Deuce.

‘Down Range’ file name Hillevi S. Väisänen, is the Scout Sniper. Daughter of a legendary hunting guide from Redwing, MN, it has been said that she can split a Popsicle™ stick at 200 yards with iron sights on a National Match M-21 in 7.62 NATO.

TWO New Joes Make First Appearances in G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #325

Skybound , Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed a first look at interior pages and variant covers for G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #325, a special anniversary issue of the smash hit series from iconic series writer Larry Hama, artist Chris Mooneyham, colorist Francesco Segala and letterer Pat Brosseau. This milestone issue of the iconic series arrives in comic book shops on February 11, 2026. 

Two new Joes, Downrange and R.C., make their FIRST APPEARANCE as Duke and Roadblock lead a dangerous cover op into Borovia.

Issue #325 features a main cover by Andy Kubert and colorist Laura Martin, an open-to-order variant cover with a black and white version of Kubert’s main cover, the continuation of the 1:10 incentive Gears of Joe cover series by Steve Beach, an anniversary wraparaound cover by iconic G.I. JOE artist Rod Whigham and colorist Mike Spicer, an open-to-order variant featuring the two new Joes by Chris Mooneyham, and a first-of-its-kind blank sketch file card cover to round out the lineup.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Super Creepshow Swings into Action March 2026

Skybound and Image Comics have announced Super Creepshow, an all-new spinoff series of the Eisner Award-nominated comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Evoke Entertainment Company. Coming hot on the heels of the Super Creepshow Special that debuted as a one-shot in October, Skybound and Image Comics will publish a five-part anthology series centered around superheroes and villains of the creepiest variety! Super Creepshow #1 will debut in comic book shops on March 18, 2026. 

In the spirit of all iterations of Creepshow in pop culture, every issue of the Creepshow comic series comes packed with two stomach-churning stories from your favorite superhero creators. Each issue of the anthology series will feature different creative teams from the worlds of comics, books, film, television, and beyond. Every uniquely horrifying standalone story is guaranteed to scare you to death. 

Super Creepshow #1 features tales by superhero comic icon Kieron Gillen and artist Rossi Gifford, as well as Eisner Award-winning creators Ryan North and Derek Charm, with letterer Pat Brosseau. 

The star-studded creative team behind Super Creepshow #1 concocted a pair of skin-crawling stories to kick off the new series. First up, Kieron Gillen and Rossi Gifford deliver a terrifying story that will have your spider sense tingling! Then, Ryan North and Derek Charm make the case that super speed is the most horrific power of all! 

In addition to the main cover by Pye Parr, Super Creepshow #1 comes with a lineup of variant covers, including open to order covers by Carmine Di Giandomenico and Derek Charm, as well as a die cut mask cover by Andrea Mialana and Jillian Crab.  

The Super Creepshow series’ all-star creative roster just goes on with the likes of Gerry Duggan, Scott Buoncristiano, Marv Wolfman, Michele Rubini, James Harren, Brandon Thomas, Juann Cabal and many others to be announced!
