There’s a virus in GIR’s head. This virus is mean, determined, and probably covered in spikes and stuff. Most importantly, it’s making GIR want to kill ZIM, and ZIM can’t really let that happen. But the only way to destroy the virus is to travel inside GIR’s broken robot mind, and the inside of GIR’s broken robot mind is a virtual madhouse of crazy. Part two of a four-part story!

Jhonen Vasquez Returns to Invader ZIM

Oni Press has revealed that the next Invader ZIM comic, Invader ZIM #20, written by original creator Jhonen Vasquez, will be available June 14. The issue follows ZIM and GIR on their latest venture as they aim to accomplish… absolutely nothing. Vasquez expanded beyond his regular comic series role to write this brand-new issue. This news comes fresh off of Nickelodeon’s recent greenlight for an all-new, 90-minute Invader ZIM TV movie.

The continuation of the popular comic finds ZIM and GIR getting sucked into the terrible Earth cartoon show Floopsy Bloops Shmoopsy, which is as disgustingly cute as it is unexplainably addicting. Art and cover art are by series artist Warren Wucinich and colors are by Fred C. Stresing.

Nickelodeon’s Invader ZIM TV movie follows the perpetually desperate and delusional Zim as he creates a new and potentially Earth-destroying plan to finally get the attention he deserves from his Irken leaders, the Almighty Tallest.

Come one, come all, to ZIMZOO! It’s definitely NOT an imitation zoo created by ZIM and the Robo-parents to fool the public into thinking they have an actual job. Nope, it’s got 100% real actual animals NOT made from bio-slurry. Come see the majestic AGRILLATOR, or learn about the eating habits of the colloquial SHROMB. They’re real animals, Dib, so keep your big head out of this!

The Almighty Tallest have snubbed ZIM—again! Just because he hasn’t “conquered” anything, as if what those other Invaders are doing can be called “conquering”! If ZIM really wanted to, he could conquer an easy target like the local Burrito King restaurant, and show the Tallest what conquering’s all about! Actually, that’s a pretty good idea. And “Burrito King” is a pretty impressive title, too. Hmmmm…
