Sunny Figures it Out is a nice graphic novel for younger readers about find your own way

There’s no question that Sunny has fun whenever she hangs out with Tony. They go to the movies together, talk a lot at school, and support each other when they need it.

But are they dating?

Sunny isn’t sure… but her friend, Deb, is. She thinks Sunny and Tony should be doing the couples-skate at the local roller rink. And Tony should be giving Sunny his jacket to wear. And carrying her books to class.

For Sunny, this doesn’t feel great. It just feels… weird. Maybe she needs to stop taking everyone else’s advice in order to figure things out for herself!

Miss Camper is cute but doesn’t shake up the concept much from other similar releases

Sue is heading to Camp Willow this summer! She’s looking forward to hiking, archery, and making comics in the fresh air. She’s especially excited about LARPing (live-action role-playing) and can’t wait for the freedom of being away from home. But she won’t be far from family because her big sister, Carmen, is a camp counselor and her little sister, Ester, is a fellow camper and won’t give her any space! All Sue wants is to make memories with her friends, but they’re assigned to only a few of the same activities. To make matters even worse, her best friend, Sam, has a best camp friend named Marisol? And Sue’s good friend Izzy has a crush on Sue?! This summer isn’t at all going as planned!

Float Vol. 1 is a really cute teen romance story. Great for those that like teen drama.

The manga features new takes on iconic characters, including a reimagined Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy, who travel to feudal Japan to take on Kingpin.

Travel to a parallel universe where the shogunate still rules Japan and the evil Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, has fled America to establish himself as Governor of Edo. Spider-Man, Miles Morales, and Ghost-Spider are hot on his trail. But the Kingpin has a trick up his sleeve—he’s brought an alien parasite capable of granting extraordinary powers. When a young man named Hyo accidentally bonds with the symbiote and seemingly transforms into the infamous Venom, things go from bad to worse! Shadow Warrior is perfect for manga and super-hero fans alike!

Shogo Aoki is a manga artist and illustrator who launched his career with his one-shot story “Mina Harker” that was published on “Good! Afternoon” magazine from Kodansha in October 2015. For Tokyo Comic Con 2018, he drew a Japan limited variant cover for “Amazing Spider-man #12” and now works on several Japanese manga magazines. His latest ongoing work is “Goblin Slayer Side Story Daikatana,” which is published by Square Enix.
