Deadpool is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on May 10th (though digital sooner) with lots of extras.

Hold onto your chimichangas, folks. From the studio that brought you all 3 Taken films comes Deadpool, the block-busting, fourth-wall-breaking masterpiece about Marvel Comics’ sexiest anti-hero: me! Go deep inside (he loves that) his origin story…typical stuff…rogue experiment, accelerated healing powers, horrible disfigurement, red spandex, imminent revenge. Directed by overpaid tool Tim Miller, and starring God’s perfect idiot Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, Deadpool is a giddy slice of awesomeness packed with more twists than my enemies’ intestines and more action than prom night. Amazeballs!

VIZ Media Expands Pokemon Catalog With Johto Journeys DVD Set

The complete 41-episode series constitutes the third season of the venerable anime adventure property and will be released in its entirety for the very first time in a 4-disc set. Pokemon: The Johto Journeys is rated ‘TV-Y7,’ for viewers ages 7 and older, and carries an MSRP of $44.82 U.S. / $51.99 CAN.

VIZ Media Announces the Release Of Sailor Moon R Set 1

All-New Special Edition James Bond Blu-ray and DVD Releases Arrive This September!

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are releasing special edition Blu-rays, DVDs and collectible box-sets on September 15th, ahead of the November 6th global release of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure.

Two new featurettes are included based on interviews with renowned Bond writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. “The Shadow of SPECTRE” concentrates on the history of SPECTRE, the fictional global criminal syndicate and terrorist organization. The second featurette, “The Story So Far”, recaps and relives the significant moments from the previous three Daniel Craig Bond films.

Limited Edition Blu-ray Steelbooks headline the new home entertainment offering for Bond fans. The collectible set includes six films featuring the SPECTRE organization (From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only) and the three recent Daniel Craig titles (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall) each featuring packaging inspired by the films’ iconic opening title sequences.

The Ultimate James Bond Collection features all 23 iconic Bond films together in one Blu-ray box-set, which includes a 24th space for SPECTRE and, for the first time, digital copies of the collection.  Also included is a new bonus disc exclusive featuring “Everything or Nothing”, a 90-minute documentary on the untold story of 007 and a pocket-sized James Bond 50 Years of Movie Posters book including the best posters from Dr No through to SPECTRE.  This collection will be exclusively available at Amazon.com.

The Flash Season 1 and Arrow Season 3, Out September 22

Flash S1 flatWarner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that the first season of The Flash and third season of Arrow will be out on Blu-ray and DVD on September 22, 2015, just in time for the new seasons.

The Flash was an instant hit, delivering the most-watched series premiere in The CW’s history. The episodes averaged 6 million viewers weekly throughout the season. With the blu-ray and dvd release, fans will get all 23 episodes of the first season plus three hours of extra content including episode commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes and a gag reel.

The series follows Central City forensic investigator Barry Allen who as a result of a scientific experiment gone awry is now the fastest man alive! He’s The Flash, zigzagging through the action-packed new series from the creative team behind Arrow and based on the supersonic DC Comics character. With his life shadowed by his mother’s murder and his father wrongly convicted of the crime, Barry finds that his newfound power of super speed grants him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Barry quickly discovers he’s not the only “metahuman” created by the explosive disaster – and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Now, to protect the innocent, Barry and his close friends who know his secret, race to combat evildoers in one astonishing adventure after another.
