SDCC 2023: Dark Horse presents a Cyberpunk love story in Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO

The writer of Netflix’s hit animated series Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners and Hugo Award nominated Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams comic, Bartosz Sztybor shares a love story tied to a gang war that just may take the Maelstrom and the Moxes down with it in Cyberpunk 2077: XOXO. Created in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red, Sztybor is joined by main cover and series artist Jakub Rebelka and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. Variant covers for issue #1 are provided by Jeffrey Alan Love, Fabrizio De Tommaso, and Rion Chow.

Gang on gang violence rages towards a bloodbath when an ambush planned by the Maelstroms on the Moxes gets complicated. 2023 Hugo Awards Finalists Announced

The nominees for the 2023 Hugo Awards have been revealed. The announcement was made on July 6th.

1847 valid nominating ballots were received from members of the 2022 and 2023 World Science Fiction Conventions. Voting opens on July 10th.

New foes in a new land in The Witcher: Wild Animals

In close collaboration with CD Projekt Red, Dark Horse Comics continues to explore the world of The Witcher in a brand new comic series,  The Witcher: Wild Animals. The four-issue miniseries is written by Bartosz Sztybor and introduces Ukrainian artist Nataliia Rerekina, Silver Award-winner of the Japan-International Manga Award, in their U.S. comics debut. Colorist Patricio Delpeche and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou complete the series team, with variant cover offerings for issue #1 from acclaimed artists Manuele Fior, Sara Kipin, and Matt Smith.

Dark Horse Books teams up with CD Projekt Red once again to present the Cyberpunk 2077 Library Edition Volume 1. This is an oversized collection of three legendary Cyberpunk 2077 stories told in comic form. The comics are written by CD Projekt Red writer and narrative manager Bartosz Sztybor and Cullen Bunn, with art by Miguel Valderrama, Jesús Hervás, and Roberto Ricci. Colors by Jason Wordie, Giulia Brusco, and Fabiana Mascolo, with lettering by Frank Cvetkovic. Cover art by Mattia De Iulis.

Geralt’s adventures continues in The Witcher Omnibus Volume 2

Dark Horse Books and CD Projekt Red present a new collection: The Witcher Omnibus Volume 2. The comic miniseries collected in this omnibus are written by Bartosz Sztybor and Aleksandra Motyka. Joining them are artists Marianna Strychowska, Amad Mir, Vanesa R. Del Rey, and Nil Vendrell. Colors for the comics are by Lauren Affe, Hamidreza Sheykh, Jordie Bellaire, and Miquel Muerto. The comics are lettered by Steve Dutro, Aditya Bidikar, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. The Witcher Omnibus Volume 2 features cover art by Evan Cagle. 

This new Omnibus is a collection of more than 300 pages of action, mystery, and suspense featuring Geralt of Rivia in three standalone stories. These include encounters with familiar faces, to a small town besieged by a pack of foglets, and to the dwellings of witches. 

The Witcher Omnibus Volume 2 collects The Witcher: Of Flesh and Flame #1-4, The Witcher: Fading Memories #1-4, The Witcher: Witch’s Lament #1-4, and the Free Comic Book Day 2021 short story “The Witcher: Once Upon a Time in the Woods,” and includes a cover gallery, expanded sketchbook section, and more.

Dark Horse brings The Umbrella Academy and The Witcher to New Comic Book Day

For Free Comic Book Day, Dark Horse Comics is bringing The Umbrella Academy/The Witcher to comic shops. Free Comic Book Day takes place on May 6, 2023. 

Presenting fan-favorites for FCBD: a squad of superpowered siblings and the infamous monster hunter! 

In The Umbrella Academy: Safe, Hargreeves and Abhijit embark on an interdimensional journey and find a cosmic horror that will have repercussions for our heroes and the universe. This short story is co-written by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, illustrated by Gabriel Bá, colored by Dave Stewart and lettering by Blambot’s Nate Piekos. The cover art for this issue is also provided by Bá and Stewart.

Then, in The Witcher: Frog Kiss, Geralt must uncover why the young women in Novigrad are turning into frogs! This short story is written by Bartosz Sztybor, illustrated by Fabio Violante, colored by Igor Monti and lettering by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.

Dark Horse announces The Witcher: The Ballad of Two Wolves

Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red present an all-new story following Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher: The Ballad of Two Wolves #1. This new series is written by Bartosz Sztybor. Sztybor is joined by artist and colorist Miki Montlló, as well as letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.
