Assassin’s Creed Returns to Comics from Titan Comics

Titan Comics has announced it has secured the license to publish Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed comics!

Assassin’s Creed is one of the most popular franchises in the video game industry, with more than 93 million units sold since its inception in 2007. Over time, Assassin’s Creed has broadened its reach into numerous media beyond games, enriching the Assassin’s Creed lore for the joy of many fans.

Titan comics will soon expand the realm of Assassin’s Creed visual storytelling with the creation of a brand new comic series.

The first 5-part arc will be illustrated by the artist of Doctor Who: Four Doctors – Neil Edwards!

There have been numerous volumes of comics already released based on the game. Some are cannon and some haven’t been. The last few volumes were released by Wildstorm and DC Comics.

Three New McFarlane Limited-Edition Resin Statues

The holidays are coming a little early for all our resin fans. The McFarlane Toys online store will be offering three awesome limited-edition statues this month, just in time for the holidays!

HALO 4 THE MASTER CHIEF RESIN STATUE ON SALE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6TH

This upcoming highly detailed, hand-painted, cold-cast resin statue perfectly recreates the iconic cover art of HALO 4. This powerful scene depicts the Master Chief rising from the wreckage from Forward Unto Dawn, primed and ready to explore the strange, new, artificial world. The Master Chief statue features three interchangeable weapons: UNSC Assault Rifle, Covenant Energy Sword and the Forerunner Boltshot.

The statue stands over 12-inches tall and sits on a detailed diorama base. Only 1,000 statues will be made worldwide, with fifty being an extremely limited “Unpainted Artist Proof” variant.

WWE THE UNDERTAKER RESIN STATUE ON SALE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6TH

With the first statue in the new WWE ICON Series, McFarlane Toys has chosen one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Undertaker. The statue depicts The Undertaker, in amazingly authentic detail, with the enigmatic character that makes him a WWE icon. WWE fans will be able to own a piece of history, as each statue will feature a piece of the ring skirt from The Undertaker’s Inferno match against WWE Superstar Kane® from the February 22, 1999 edition of Monday Night Raw®.

The Undertaker statue stands over 17.5-inches tall, with a special base that includes LED spotlights, a plaque highlighting some of The Undertaker’s historic accomplishments. The Undertaker statue is limited to only 850 pieces worldwide, which included 50 extremely limited “Unpainted Artist Proof” variant & 50 hand signed by The Undertaker!

ASSASSIN’S CREED EDWARD KENWAY RESIN STATUE ON SALE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13TH

From one of the most anticipated video games of the year, Ubisoft®’s Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™, this meticulously sculpted statue captures the charismatic yet brutal pirate captain, Edward Kenway, as he appears in key game art. The in-game accurate statue features Edward striding confidently ashore, with sword and pistol in hand, waves lapping at his boots, and a dead rival pirate at his feet.

The statue stands approximately 14-inches tall on its base, spans more than 14-inches from the tip of his coat tail to the end of his weapon and stands on an 11.5 inch wide circular base that rotates 360-degrees. The statue is highly limited to 1,000 total pieces worldwide, with fifty being the extremely limited “Unpainted Artist Proof” variant.

Each amazing statue will be sequentially number and will include a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by the internationally acclaimed artist and creator of McFarlane Toys, Todd McFarlane. All of these limited-edition collectible will retail at $295 each, except for the WWE statue signed by The Undertaker (retail at $395). The limited edition HALO 4 Master Chief and WWE The Undertaker statues, are available Friday, December 6, 2013, and the Edward Kenway Statue will be available to purchase on Friday, December 13, 2013.

SDCC 2013: Todd McFarlane Signings, Panel, Exclusive Figures and Free Giveaways

San Diego Comic-Con is quickly approaching and we want to make sure you know where to find everything Todd McFarlane. Todd will be at some of the hottest SDCC events for autograph sessions and a panel. He’ll be signing a special exclusive Assassin’s Creed poster giveaway (yes, that does mean free!) for a few hundred lucky fans.

For all the hordes of The Walking Dead fans, Skybound, booth #2729, is bringing you an exclusive limited edition The Walking Dead Comic Governor in Riot Gear action figure. Created, developed and designed by Todd McFarlane and his award-winning McFarlane Toys design group, in conjunction with Robert Kirkman and Skybound for only $25. This action figure shows The Governor, wearing his famous riot gear from the classic “Kill Them All” scene in issue 42. This figure comes with some great accessories; two pistols, Michonne’s bloody sword and a bullhorn.
