Yukimi Matsuo is representing Japan in the Miss Universe competition. She’ll not only be representing Japan, but also us comic geeks around the world. Matsuo not only loves manga, she draws it as well.

The 25 year old was named Miss Universe Japan and has a noble purpose to not just represent her nation in the Miss Universe Pageant, but also as she has said:

The reason why I entered this competition is because I want to tell the world about Japanese manga.

Matsuo has yet to break big in the manga world, but she has done some local manga work in Mie Prefecture.
