Wizard World Las Vegas The Walking Dead #1 Variant Cover By Gilbert Hernandez

Gilbert Hernandez The Walking Dead #1Wizard World, Inc. and Skybound announced that Love & Rockets creator Gilbert Hernandez has drawn the seventh in a yearlong series of Limited Edition Exclusive Variant Covers of The Walking Dead #1 comic, to be provided free to all full-price attendees at the inaugural Wizard World Comic Con Las Vegas, April 24-26.

The exclusive The Walking Dead #1 edition will be produced in extremely limited quantities and is available at registration to fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center only while supplies last. VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version of the comic.

Hernandez’s Love & Rockets has been translated into French, Japanese and many other languages, and has received numerous awards for excellence. The book collections from Fantagraphics have garnered almost nothing but rave reviews from fan and mainstream press alike for over a decade. Hernandez’s early comics featured a passel of fascinating females, but the one who commanded center stage in every respect was Luba, who first appeared as an ambitious “voodoo woman” in the science fiction pastiche BEM.

Stars of The Walking Dead TV series scheduled to attend Wizard World Comic Con Las Vegas include  Norman Reedus, David Morrissey, Steven Yeun, Emily Kinney, Michael Cudlitz, Seth Gilliam and Michael Rooker. Other standout celebrities attending include Tom Felton, Tom Mison, Arthur Darvill, Robert Englund, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, WWE Diva Paige, Milo Ventimiglia, RJ Mitte and more.

Larroca, Adams, Zeck, Ortiz Highlight Artist Alley At Inaugural Wizard World Las Vegas

LarrocaSalvador Larroca, Neal Adams, Mike Zeck, Phil Ortiz and Michael Golden headline the roster of more than 100 comics artists and writers scheduled to attend Wizard World Comic Con Las Vegas, April 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is the first trip to Las Vegas for Wizard World, Inc.

Others in Artist Alley include Clay Mann, Tyler Kirkham, Renee Witterstaetter, Ethan Van Sciver, Carlo Barberi, Dean Haspiel, Arthur Suydam, Angel Unzueta, Stephen Grant, Russ Adams, Billy Martin and dozens of others.

In addition, all full-price Wizard World Comic Con Las Vegas attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover The Walking Dead #1 and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.
