Graphic Policy’s Top Comic Picks this Week!

Black Adam #1

Wednesdays (and Tuesdays) are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find out what folks think below, and what comics you should be looking out for this week.

Aquaman and The Flash: Voidsong #1 (DC Comics) – The two heroes team up and must save the world. It’s two personalities that definitely feel like they don’t go together so this miniseries could be entertaining just due to that.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #4 (DC Comics) – Just a fun series overall with great art.

Beware the Eye of Odin #1 (Image Comics) – The second story dealing with the eye of Odin in recent months, we’re intrigued to see how this one plays out and how the two differ.

Black Adam #1 (DC Comics) – A new Black Label series focused on the character who’s getting the spotlight this year and beyond.

Dark Crisis: Young Justice #1 (DC Comics) – The event so far has been ok, but we want to see how it builds and where it goes.

I Hate This Place #2 (Image Comics) – The first issue had a nice X-Files weirdness about it. There’s a lot to take in and where it’s going, we have no idea.

Kaiju Score: Steal from the Gods #3 (AfterShock) – The heist mash-up series has been fun with every issue delivering action, humor, and solid style.

Killer: Affairs of State #5 (BOOM! Studios) – The series constantly entertains, makes you think, all wrapped up in a hint of cool.

Milestones in History #1 (DC Comics) – Milestone focuses on some of the Black trailblazers from across history!

New Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel) – Travel back in Marvel history to a rather different Fantastic Four.

Punisher War Journal Blitz #1 (Marvel) – Check out Frank’s missions the main series doesn’t have enough time to tell.

Space Story (West Margin Press) – Three interwormen stories about a family separated when the planet becomes uninhabitable by humans.

Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen’s Boss Perry White (DC Comics) – The title alone.

The Wrong Earth: Confidence of Men (AHOY Comics) – After a few mistakes, the heroes of Earth Alpha and Omega must teach their Stingers some hard lessons.
