Games Workshop has teased a New Warhammer World in the US

Warhammer World

Games Workshop has announced a new Warhammer World will be opening up in the United States. Warhammer World is more than a store and features displays, food, and gaming area. The company has said they aren’t going to completely copy the Warhammer World in Nottingham UK, but they said it’ll be a “flagship venue that celebrates Warhammer in all its forms: gaming, painting, modelling, storytelling, events, and community.”

The new facility will open its doors in late 2027 “just outside” Washington, DC.

Games Workshop has some history with the area having had their US headquarters in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The DC area boasts multiple Games Workshop stores and there’s ample space to launch a destination such as this in either Virginia or Maryland.

We’ll absolutely keep updates as to the project and make sure to visit it when it launches in 2027.

Games Workshop reveals its first Live Preview of 2026 while rolling out Huron Blackheart and his Red Corsairs

Games Workshop has announced its New Year Warhammer Preview Live! 2026 will stream January 16th at 7:30pm GMT and feature news about Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, and Blood Bowl.

We know that we’ll get more info about the 500 Worlds of Ultramar for 40K but we’re also getting some reveals already for Huron Blackheart and his Red Corsairs. The Chaos Space Marine piratical force is one of the two main releases that’ll be upcoming for a 40K event, the other being new Aeldari.

So far, we’ve gotten a look at the new Huron Blackheart figure as well as Garreon the Corpsemaster, the former Apothecary of the Astral Claws.

Get a look at them below as well as the tease of the rest of Huron Blackheart’s retinue.

Games Workshop Surprises with Warhammer Quest: Darkwater

While details are slim, Games Workshop has announced a new edition of Warhammer Quest, “Darkwater.” The new edition is set within the Mortal Realms of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

Evil lurks in the dark, there’s something in the water, and the whole of Ghyran is under threat.

It’s probably time to gather together a band of heroes, renegades, and misfits, and go on a Quest…

What perils await our group of intrepid adventurers within the ruins of the Jade Abbey? We’ll find out when more details are released in the coming weeks!

The original Warhammer Quest was a dungeon crawling board game and released in 1995 as a successor to HeroQuest and Advanced HeroQuest. It spawned numerous expansions and that original release wrapped up in 1998 and has since become a grail game for many.

HeroQuest, originally a joint venture between Milton Bradley and Games Workshop, was released in 1989 and was rereleased by Avalon Hill in 2020 with a crowdfunding a campaign with numerous expansions since in 2020.

Warhammer Quest was revived with Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower in 2017 which was followed up with Warhammer Quest: Shadows Over Hammerhal in 2017, Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress in 2018, and Warhammer Quest: Cursed City in 2021.

Games Workshop Announces Price Increases

Warhammer

Prices are influx across the board, especially in the United States, for a range of factors. Games Workshop has announced that it’s increasing prices on “some” products starting October 6, 2025. The company hasn’t announced price increases due to recent tariffs by President Donald Trump, but it’s hard to not think the two are connected.

The average price will increase about 4% but the exact amount will vary by product. Some will increase more and some less. Products like paints, sprays, and paint sets aren’t changing at all.

Recently, Warlord Games announced it was passing along the increase cost of tariffs to consumers but crediting accounts for that amount.

For Necromunda enter the Halls of the Ancients. The Ironhead Squat Prospectors came to Necromunda some 10,000 years ago as the Confederation of Urlish, and you can find out why they stayed in Halls of the Ancients. Inside the latest supplement for Necromunda, you’ll find a complete history of the Ironhead Squat Prospectors, updated rules for the gangs, including the new Exo-kyn and Svenotar Scout Trikes, plus rules for hired guns, hangers-on, Dramatis Personae and more. Stake your claim on this bounty of fresh new rules and lore in either hardback and ePub editions.

Halls of the Ancients

The Ironhead Squat Prospectors Exo-kyn are based on the void suits used long ago by their ancestors, and now employed to hunt treasure in the Necromundan ash wastes. They mine in the depths, far below the sump sea, and they’re quite happy to turn this equipment against anyone who attempts to steal their finds. This set of four Exo-kyn comes with two Techmite Exovator 078b automata, which help them survey for materials and fend off aggressors.

This kit has been slightly updated to fit better in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, and can also be built as a Celestial Hurricanum, which will unleash magical storms rather than beams of light. It includes a Battlemage, who can be mounted on either machine, adding spellcasting prowess to proceedings.
