It’s three in a row for Captain America: Brave New World
Captain America: Brave New World was in first place at the weekend box office, that’s the third weekend in the row. The film grossed an estimated $15 million to bring its domestic gross to $163.7 million. Over the week, the film grossed $29.9 million at the international box office to bring that to $178.1 million. Overall, the movie has grossed $341.8 million.
Last Breath debuted in second place with an estimated $7.8 million domestically and $537,349 at the international box office. Worldwide, the move has grossed $8.3 million.
The Monkey slipped one spot to come in third place. The movie grossed an estimated $6.4 million to bring its domestic total to $24.6 million. Internationally, the movie has grossed $6.7 million for a worldwide total of $31.2 million.
Paddington in Peru slipped one spot to fourth place with $4.5 million bringing its domestic total to $31.4 million. Internationally, the film grossed $8 million over the week to lift that to $133 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $164.4 million.
Dog Man rounded out the top five with $4.2 million domestically to bring that gross to $84.1 million. Over the week, it grossed a little over $2.8 million internationally to bring that total to $29.1 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $113.1 million.
In comic film news…
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: Beginning debuted in the US with $916,664. Internationally, the movie has grossed $18.6 million for a worldwide gross of $19.5 million.
Kraven the Hunter domestically remains at a little over $25 million. Internationally, the movie remains at just under $37 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed just under $62 million after six weeks.
The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim held domestically at $9.2 million. Internationally the film remained at $11.3 million. The movie has grossed just $20.5 million.
Venom: The Last Dance remain at $139.8 million domestically. Internationally, it remained at $339.1 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $478.9 million.
Solo Leveling: Reawakening remained at $3.4 million domestically. Internationally it remained at just under $3 million for a worldwide total of a little over $6.3 million.
The week’s overall box office success…
Numbers have 67 films earning $54,383,141 from 38,276 theaters. That’s about a drop of near 25% from the previous weekend’s $77,935,682 from 35,309 theaters and 65 films. The average earning was $1,420.82 which is also a decrease from the previous weekend’s $2,207.25.
