Hasbro Reveals More Details on the Haslab Unicron including a Shuttle Plus IDW Comic Package

Beware the inescapable clutches of the mighty Unicron! The already formidable hands of the Chaos Bringer will now have 15 points of articulation, 3 per finger, so Unicron can better grasp the inferior bots he wishes to devour. The included Galvatron and newly added Hot Rod slug figures make the perfect snacks!

With the new to-scale Hot Rod slug figure, fans can reimagine the epic 1986 movie scene where Hot Rod defeats the menacing Planet Eater! Unicron will also now come with an Autobot shuttle ship inspired by the movie!

And when fans play out the part where the Bringer of Chaos’s head flies off into space, now it can appear to float! Unicron will come with a clear premium posable headstand to display his dismembered head in all its glory. The headstand also features posts to pose the included mini figures.

The Transformers War for Cybertron Unicron figure is part of Hasbro’s crowdfunding platform, HasLab. Remember, if the project doesn’t reach 8,000 backers by October 6th, the product will not move into production. Also, orders for Unicron will no longer be accepted after October 6th. If you want to add this once-in-a-lifetime figure to your Transformers collection, you must back this project before the deadline. You can back this project at HasbroPulse.com.

Hasbro and IDW Publishing aso announced yet another surprise for backers of the HASLAB Transformers: War for Cybertron Unicron project. Fans who support the Unicron crowd-funded campaign through hasbropulse.com by 11:59PM EST on October 6, 2019, will also receive a ‘FREE’ digital comic bundle.

The comic will feature an all-new UNICRON cover by fan-favorite Andrew Griffith. The digital collection will include the currently unavailable Transformers: The Animated Movie four-issue limited series by Bob Budiansky, Don Figueroa and Josh Burcham – which adapts and expands the classic film that introduced Unicron – plus the first issue of the 2019 Transformers ongoing series by Brian Ruckley, Angel Hernandez, Cachét Whitman and Joana Lafuente.

If the campaign goal is reached, backers  will receive a unique code to then access the digital comic bundle exclusively through Comixology – a free mobile app available on iOS and Android.

HasLab’s Transformers Unicron Campaign is Extended

TRANSFORMERS fans – it’s not over for The Lord of Chaos quite yet!

Hasbro has been reading your comments and listening to your feedback about wanting more time, and they’ve shared that they’re officially extending the campaign date for the Transformers: War for Cybertron Unicron HasLab project through New York Comic Con, ending Sunday, October 6, 2019. The extension will hopefully get this project to the 8,000 backers it needs to meet its goal.

For those that have already backed the project, your card will not be charged until the new end date – October 6, 2019. Also, note that you can still cancel your order if you no longer want to be part of Transformers history. Just log into your account on HasbroPulse.com to cancel your order.

Hasbro Reveals New Accessories for Unicron!

Hasbro has revealed accessories for the new Transformers War for Cybertron Unicron! There are just a few more days to reach the 8,000 campaign goal.

Hasbro is introducing more movie accuracy to the Bringer of Chaos. The legendary Unicron will come with interchangeable chins, allowing fans to switch back and forth between a smooth chin and a goatee-style chin, just like in the 1986 Transformers The Movie. Now, the infamous Planet Eater is ready for any scene!

The colossal Unicron will also come with a Galvatron slug figure so fans can pose out epic movie scenes with the two villains. The Galvatron figure is a slug that stands 3.75 cm (1.5 inches) tall, ready for battle with his iconic blaster and just the right size to fit in Unicron’s hand as seen in the 1986 film.

Hasbro Reveals a Closer Look at Unicron’s Robot Mode and Conversion

With a couple week’s left to reach the 8,000 backers, Hasbro has revealed a closer look at the robot mode for Unicron, the biggest Transformer ever.

They also revealed how you’ll convert the figure from planet to robot. Legendary Takara Tomy product designer, Kunihiro, performs complex conversion steps with style in this unique take on a Transformers conversion video.

You can back the figure now. You have until August 31st to back the figure and help make it a reality.
