Queen in Black #1 gets a True Believers 20-Bag Display Box featuring 19 Blind Bags and an Exclusive Cover by Patrick Gleason

Queen in Black by Al Ewing and Iban Coello is shaping up to be the comic book event of the summer, and the debut issue will hit stands on July 1 with all the excitement of the cosmic conflict contained in its pages thanks to True Believers Blind Bags! The Queen in Black #1 True Believers Blind Bags will be the first True Believers Blind Bags that will only contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering. Marvel has announced that all-new True Believers Display Boxes will also be available, each containing 19 sealed Blind Bags and 1 Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover by artist Patrick Gleason!

The Display Box Exclusive Variant Cover is only available in Queen in Black #1 True Believers Display Boxes and will be sealed in an individual clear polybag. The cover is a special black edition of Gleason’s iconic “webhead” style variant cover that was previously revealed as a Queen in Black #1 True Believers Blind Bags exclusive. In addition, each box is also GUARANTEED to contain both Connecting Variant Covers A and B by artist David Marquez within two of the 19 sealed Blind Bags!

Queen in Black #1 True Believers Display Boxes are a perfect opportunity for hardcore collectors to get their hands on an exclusive cover available nowhere else. Daredevil’s True Believers Blind Bags features Surprise Sketches by Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, and Frank Miller

Daredevil #1 by Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett arrives at local comic shops tomorrow, the latest Marvel Comics launch available to purchase in new Daredevil #1 True Believers Blind Bags. In these blind bags, fans have the chance to find any of the issue’s regular covers OR rare Blind Bag exclusive covers, including ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn sketch covers from surprise artists and contributors! Marvel has revealed some of those surprise covers will come from legendary Daredevil writer/artist Frank Miller, and actors Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal, who reprised their roles as Daredevil and Punisher in Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again last year. A selection of Charlie Cox’s signed copies will also feature artwork by influential Daredevil artist Alex Maleev.

The anticipation for the new comic book run and the buzz around True Believers Blind Bags have made Daredevil #1 the biggest Daredevil launch in Marvel Comics history! With over 300,000 copies already sold, it’s not too late to join the excitement.

Queen in Black #1 gets True Believers Blind Bag Exclusives!

This summer, the Marvel Universe is torn asunder by a cosmic collision of evil in Queen in Black, a five-issue event series by writer Al Ewing and artist Iban Coello!

Announced last month, the debut issue will be the latest Marvel Comics launch sold in new True Believers Blind Bags, following Ultimate Endgame #1 earlier this year and Daredevil #1, hitting stands next week. And for the first time, Queen in Black #1 True Believers Blind Bags will only contain exclusive variant covers not available for regular ordering. Today, Marvel Comics reveals new Queen in Black #1 variant covers, including regular orderable covers by J. Scott Campbell, Jeehyung Lee, John Romita Jr., and Pat Gleason, the latest in his hit “Webhead” variant covers. Also revealed today are new True Believers Blind Bag exclusive covers by Artgerm and Gurihiru. Other blind bag exclusives include a virgin edition of Jeehyung Lee’s variant cover, an alternate “Webhead” cover by Pat Gleason that will be revealed at a later date, and the previously shown promotional image by David Marquez, which will be presented as two connecting covers.

This summer, Queen in Black, a five-issue event series by mastermind writer Al Ewing and superstar artist Iban Coello, conquers the Marvel Universe!

Queen in Black spins out of Ewing’s acclaimed work on Venom as well as the new Knull limited series that saw Hela seize Knull’s throne, forcing the God of the Void to claim a new power for himself.
