This July, the world of AHOY Comics‘ Toxic Avenger expands with The Toxic Avenger Comics. The new ongoing series features the movie’s grossest hero, masterminded by the hit creative team from 2024’s Toxic Avenger miniseries, Matt Bors and Fred Harper. The first five issues will feature self-contained stories written by Bors and drawn by various artists. Each story will inhabit a genre of its own: horror (#1), crime (#2), sci-fi (#3), romance (#4) and fantasy (#5). Each issue will introduce an important new character and have a two-page intro drawn by Fred Harper setting up the epic serial that starts in #6: “Toxie Goes to Washington.”

The Toxic Avenger #3 is written by Bors with art by Harper and Tristan Wright and comes to shops on September 17.

He’s picked a bad time-the forces of Hyper-Priestess Isimar Rothschild, the Queen of the Chicago Conglomerate, have attacked Old York. Caught in the midst of a decade-old war between two powerful magick clans, the drifter has to figure out where his loyalties lie, if he has any to speak of, and he has to do it quick!
