Revival is getting a compendium paperback edition this September

The beloved bestselling series Revival—by fan-favorite writer Tim Seeley, artist Mike Norton, and colorist Mark Englert with lettering by Crank!—will be collected in its entirety into one complete compendium paperback edition this September. This Revival Compendium will feature hauntingly beautiful cover art by Jenny Frison and be available from Image Comics.

It will include Revival issues #1-47 of the Harvey Award nominated series, plus the Free Comic Book Day Revival short story, the Revival/Chew crossover one-shot, a Frison cover art gallery, and many additional behind-the-scenes bonuses and special content.

Revival first launched at Image in 2012 and took the industry by storm with multiple sell-outs and reprints, a bevy of award nominations, and critical accolades that shot the title to the top of the sales charts. The Revival series has since sold over 1 million copies across all formats and continues to be one of Image’s most reordered backlist titles today.

In Revival, for one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead came back to life. Now, it’s up to Officer Dana Cypress to deal with the media scrutiny, religious zealots, and government quarantine that has come with them. In a town where the living have to learn to deal with those who are supposed to be dead, Officer Cypress must solve the brutal murder of her own sister. Saga gets new releases with new trim size editions

Image Comics has announced exciting new 6×9 trim size editions of the multiple award winning, bestselling series Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples slated to begin hitting shelves this September. This upcoming Saga, Vol. 1 in 6×9 trim size paperback format will feature new, never-before-seen cover art by Staples.

The series will remain available in single issue, standard trim size trade paperback, deluxe hardcover, and compendium trade paperback editions—as well as digital formats—offering readers a variety of options to suit any reader’s tastes.

Perhaps best described as Romeo & Juliet meets Star Wars, this genre-blending, sci-fi/fantasy space opera follows star-crossed lovers from enemy worlds.
