Today, the nominees for the Writers Guild Awards was announced. Guardians of the Galaxy actually made the list and was nominated for “Adapted Screenplay.” Written by James Gunn and Nicole Perlman; the movie is based on the Marvel comic by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.

The movie is nominated along with American Sniper, Gone Girl, The Imitation Game and Wild.

The 67th Annual Writers Guild Awards will be held February 14.
