Yen Press Announces The Infernal Devices: The Complete Trilogy

Yen Press has announced The Infernal Devices: The Complete Trilogy, a collection of The Infernal Devices graphic novel adaptation written by Cassandra Clare with art by HyeKyung Baek. The three books in the trilogy, Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess, are prequels to the best-selling and wildly popular The Mortal Instruments. Following the Yen Press tradition of beautiful deluxe repackagings, The Infernal Devices: The Complete Trilogy will be published as a hardcover collection with a dust jacket—a must have for fans of the prolific Cassandra Clare. The Infernal Devices: The Complete Trilogy is scheduled to release in August 2022.

The first graphic novel in the series, Clockwork Angel, was originally released by Yen Press in 2012, and the series remains one of the most popular YA graphic novel adaptations they have published, along with the likes of Maximum Ride and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. HyeKyung Baek’s art featured in The Infernal Devices was praised by Booklist for being “expressive” and “dynamic” interpretations of the novels that convey all the action, snark, and romance of the original fantasy series.

Yen Press continues to successfully publish lush and atmospheric interpretations of Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series. The fifth installment of the graphic novel adaptation with art by Cassandra Jean will be released on March 29, 2022.

The Mortal Instruments – City Of Bones Adaptation From Th3rd World Studios Debuts as a Digital Exclusive on comiXology Today

New York Times bestselling author Cassandra Clare and publisher Th3rd World Studios have teamed up to release Clare’s acclaimed urban fantasy trilogy The Mortal Instruments as a series of graphic novels with today’s exclusive digital release of issue 1 of The City of Bones, on comiXology.

Todays’ release of City of Bones issue #1, marks the first graphic novel adaptation of The Mortal Instruments series. All nine issues will be released digitally by Th3rd World Studios and will initially only be available through comiXology.

The series will be adapted into graphic novels by veteran comics writer Mike Raicht and art on the series will be handled by talented newcomer, Nicole Virella with colors by Jeremy Mohler, and lettering by Steve Wands.

In City of Bones, the handsome Jace introduces fifteen-year-old Clary Fray to the world of the Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of warriors dedicated to driving demons out of our world. She is sure that Valentine, the evil and powerful Shadowhunter, is responsible for her mother’s disappearance, but she’s about to discover much more.

Readers will be able to instantly download the digital version of City of Bones today through comiXology, making it available across comiXology’s entire platform, which includes iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8 and the Web.
