Image announces a trio of Second Printings

Image Comics has announced that three bestelling series will be fast-tracked for reprints in order to keep up with escalating customer demand—Skottie Young and Brett Bean’s I Hate Fairyland (2022) #1, Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino’s The Bone Orchard Mythos: Ten Thousand Black Feathers #2, and Wes Craig’s Kaya #2. All three reprints will land on shelves this December.

In Skottie Young and Brett Bean’s I Hate Fairyland (2022) #1, everyone’s favorite green-haired axe-wielding crazed maniac returns in this Deadpool meets Alice In Wonderland-style adventure! Gert is all grown up and living in the real world. Times are tough and the only job she’s qualified for has her trying to find her way back to the place she hates the most…Fairyland.

Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino expand their shared horror universe of titles, The Bone Orchard Mythos, with Ten Thousand Black Feathers. In issue #2, Trish and Jackie are pulled deeper into the fantasy world they’ve created. But the terrors of the real world are difficult to separate and their teenage daydreams are proving to be equally dangerous.

In Wes Craig’s Kaya #2, Kaya has formed an uneasy alliance with the Lizard-Riders. But will a flash flood and a dangerous hunt for food with the treacherous Zothan push Kaya past her breaking point?

I Hate Fairyland (2022) #1, second printing (Diamond Code SEP229024), The Bone Orchard Mythos: Ten Thousand Black Feathers #2, second printing (Diamond Code SEP229025), and Kaya #2, second printing (Diamond Code SEP229026) will all be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, December 21.

Ten Thousand Black Feathers join Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino’s Bone Orchard Mythos

Lemire and Sorrentino’s The Bone Orchard Mythos is a shared Horror universe that kicked off with the release of The Passageway original graphic novel. It will continue to feature self-contained graphic novels and limited series about the unsettling darkness waiting to be discovered within the Bone Orchard.

Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino Launch the Shared Horror Universe – The Bone Orchard Mythos – Coming in 2022

The Eisner Award winning, bestselling creative team that brought fans Gideon Falls and Primordial—Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino—will grow their empire with the launch of The Bone Orchard Mythos. This shared horror universe of interconnected stories will launch from Image Comics in 2022.

The Bone Orchard Mythos is an ambitious expansion for the powerhouse creative team and will span multiple books and across a variety of different storytelling formats. Each title will tell its own unique, self-contained tale—some as stand-alone hardcover graphic novels, some as miniseries comics, and some as longer format maxiseries comics—but they will all be set within the same world and add to the overall Bone Orchard mythology. 

The team plans to release at least two new titles each year, for the next several years. In Summer 2022 the horrors begin with a hardcover graphic novel titled, The Passageway which follows a geologist sent to a remote lighthouse to investigate a strange phenomenon. In Fall 2022 Lemire and Sorrentino will follow up with a miniseries titled, Ten Thousand Black Feathers, and then another original graphic novel hardcover in 2023 titled Tenement. 

The Passageway original graphic novel (ISBN 978-1-5343-2224-0) will be available on Wednesday, June 15 and in bookstores on Tuesday, June 21. It can be pre-ordered at your local comic book shop or independent bookstore or via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and Indigo.
