Hot Toys reveals a new Obi-Wan Kenobi figure as part of the DX series!

Following the thrilling finale of the hit Star Wars live-action series, Hot Toys has officially introduced a new Obi-Wan Kenobi 1/6 Scale Figure as a part of their acclaimed DX series! 

This newly revealed collectible figure is meticulously crafted with a hand-painted head sculpt — complete with the DX eyeball posing feature, allowing fans to add a new level of realism to their figure display.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi 1/6 Scale Figure also arrives with a huge range of accessories, including an LED light-up lightsaber with an interchangeable blade to emulate the lightsaber in motion, a blaster pistol, an L0-LA59 droid, Obi-Wan’s binoculars, a holoprojector, a Bail Organa hologram miniature, and even a rocky diorama base on which to recreate Obi-Wan’s showdown with Darth Vader!

Furthermore, a Special Edition version of the Obi-Wan Kenobi figure will also include Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber hilt and a box as bonus items exclusively for collectors.

Purge Troopers come to the Hot Toys lineup

Hot Toys‘ latest Star Wars collectible figures draw inspiration from the live-action appearance of the Purge Troopers — as seen in the hit Disney Plus series, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Purge Troopers are a highly specialized class of Imperial soldier, trained and equipped to assist the Inquisitors in hunting down Jedi and other Force-sensitive beings who threaten the Empire.

Borrowing tactics and methods first used by the Republic soldiers who accompanied Jedi generals during the Clone Wars, this elite group is shrouded in secrecy.

Marvel Celebrates Pride Month with Star Wars Pride Variant Covers

Marvel and Lucasfilm have teamed up to celebrate Pride Month with a new collection of stunning Star Wars Pride variant covers. Debuting on all of Marvel’s Star Wars titles starting in June, these variant covers showcase LGBTQIA+ characters from throughout the Star Wars galaxy and were created by an incredible lineup of LGBTQIA+ talent. Each cover also features a special Pride versions of the series’ title along with the official Star Wars Pride logo.

Here are the characters fans can see in this year’s collection:

  • Marvel Comics’ breakout character and star of her own ongoing series, Doctor Aphra
  • Fellow archaeologist and self-proclaimed “arch-nemesis” of Doctor Aphra, Kho Phon Farrus
  • Sabé, Saché and Yané, former handmaidens of Padmé Amidala who currently play a pivotal role in the STAR WARS: DARTH VADER comic series
  • T’onga, a former bounty hunter currently being pulled back into action in the STAR WARS: BOUNTY HUNTERS comic series and her wife, Losha
  • Jedi Padawans of the High Republic era, Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala
  • Vi Moradi, the Resistance spy who can often be found by guests visiting Black Spire Outpost at Batuu
  • Resistance Commander Larma D’Acy, known for her appearances in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, and her wife, Resistance Pilot Wrobie Tyce

Obi-Wan Kenobi Gets a Full Trailer

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi comes to Disney+ on May 27th.

Within seconds it’s hard not to feel the nostalgia with the first trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Cast Revealed

Production for Obi-Wan Kenobi begins soon and Star Wars and Disney has revealed the cast for the series.

Ewan McGregor returns in the title role and will be joined by Hayden Christensen who will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Joining them are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Joel Edgerton will likely be returning for his role as Owen Lars which he played in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He’ll be joined by Bonnie Piesse who played Beru in both those films as well.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will air on Disney+.
