Top Cow’s St. Mercy: Godland leaps into a new era of obsession: The Gods of the Golden Age of Hollywood

Top Cow Productions, Inc has partnered with EP1T0ME Studios, Inc. once again to launch St. Mercy: Godland, the next installment of the hit action/adventure series, St. Mercy. 

In this new chapter, writer John Zuur Platten and artist Atilio Rojo catapult Mercy from the dangers of the Incan Empire and the American West into the ruthless, golden era of 1930’s Hollywood. It features lettering by Troy Peteri.

In St. Mercy: Godland, Mercedes Oro finds herself immortal, forever tethered to the cursed ancient Incan gold, and in constant struggle with the Incan gods who deem her both a threat and an opportunity. Now, with the spirit of Toctolissica inside her, and her demon sister Quispe beside her, Mercy heads to 1930s Hollywood – a different golden age with gods of its own. Will Mercy’s  newfound star power be enough to hold the past at bay, or will the power of the gods force her into the bloody center of a conflict even she can’t survive?

Top Cow and EP1T0ME partner for Comics and Graphic Novels

Top Cow Productions is partnering with EP1T0ME to co-produce and to publish a slate of EP1T0ME comic books and graphic novels, including EP1T0ME’s debut comic book, St. Mercy.

EP1T0ME, founded by Richard Leibowitz in January 2020, develops, produces, and co-publishes primarily single-player, story-driven, single/several session, PC/Console games; its slate includes an even split between license-based and original games; it struck a deal with Top Cow to establish original properties and to market games.

St. Mercy, penned by John Zuur Platten and illustrated by Atilio Rojo, is a tale of vengeful retribution; it pits the Incan Empire against the American West and features two strong, determined young women, both of whom have no choice but to defy authority as they succumb to their destiny.

Writer John Zuur Platten teams up with artist Atilio Rojo for the upcoming action-packed revenge tale, St. Mercy. This all-new, four-issue miniseries kicks off this August from Image Comics and Top Cow. 

A tale of vengeful retribution, St. Mercy pits the Incan Empire against the American West—and features two strong, determined young women who must defy authority and ultimately embrace their destiny. Mercedes Oro is one of the surviving descendants of the Incans who has been charged with protecting a cache of cursed gold used in their child sacrifice rituals. 

But when an outlaw tries to steal the gold for his band of thieves, he unknowingly sets events in motion that will unleash an angry god who is willing to travel through the centuries to have what he desires.
