A battle between the Bat and the Cat is coming to Gotham this August. Spinning out of Knight Terrors: Batman, Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War begins August 29. The event then takes place in Batman and Catwoman as well as a series of one-shots and a miniseries.
Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Battle Lines #1 comes to shops August 29 from writers Chip Zdarsky and Tini Howard and artists Mike Hawthorne and Adriano Di Benedetto. It features a main cover by Jorge Jiminez, and variants by Joe Quesafa, Kael Ngu, and Otto Schmidt.
The second part takes place in Batman #137 arriving September 5th from Chip Zdarsky and Jorge Jimenez and covers by Joe Quesada, Gabriele Dell’otto and Rose Besch, and Salvador Larroca. Batman descends on Gotham City, full of rage and force, more driven than ever to save his home. But the new landscape has turned friends into foes. Can anyone stop his reign of terror? Should they?
Catwoman #57 by Tini Howard and Nico Leon continues the story. While Batman finds himself more and more isolated, Selina is never alone. With a volunteer army and two powerful generals by her side, the ballet between her and Bruce enters its next act with a shocking twist. The issue comes to shops on September 19 with a main cover by David Nakayama and variant by Jamie McKelvie, Joshua “Sway” Swaby, and Rian Gonzales.
