Mad Cave Studios has expanded its publishing footprint with successful imprints Maverick, Papercutz, and Amazing Comics. Now, the publisher has announced the launch of Nakama Press, featuring original Manga, Manhwa, Licensed Titles, Manfra and Manhua!

Committed to becoming a cultural bridge between East and West, the imprint is a mix of indie stories and partnerships with esteemed studios like Tatsunoko Production, Rainbow Group, and more, is a combination of fresh talent and beloved franchises that promise to deliver a compelling reading experience that appeals to manga enthusiasts and newcomers alike. It will feature a variety of stories catering to readers of all ages, highlighting its commitment to delivering engaging and inclusive content, showcasing original stories and licensed titles that promise to captivate audiences with diverse genres and artistic styles.

Fans attending Anime NYC 2024 at the Javits Center in New York, NY, can learn more at the Manga-Inspired Graphic Novels with Mad Cave panel, Sat. Winx Graphic Novels to be Published in US through Mad Cave Studios’ Maverick and Papercutz imprints

Mad Cave Studios and Rainbow Group will publish Winx graphic novels for young adult and middle grade readers through Mad Cave’s Maverick and Papercutz imprints. 

Set in a magical universe that is inhabited by fairies, witches, and other mythical creatures, the beloved Winx stories originally premiered in 2004, becoming a ratings success in Italy and on Nickelodeon networks internationally. Unlike many other remakes, The Winx Club has been evolving in some way ever since its conception, keeping its original DNA alive while riding the wave of new trends over time.

Under the agreement, Mad Cave Studios will be publishing young adult graphic novels under their imprint Maverick as well as middle grade adaptations via their recently acquired middle grade imprint Papercutz. 

The first of a number of Winx stories will be released in 2024.
