The current era of Captain America is about to explode! Last year, both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson picked up the shield and embarked on separate journeys in the pages of Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Carmen Carnero’s Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Tochi Onyebuchi and R.B. Silva’s Captain America: Symbol of Truth. Now, the two Captains will reunite for Captain America: Cold War, a crossover event that will make them question everything they believe in…and each other. Today, fans can get their first taste of the high-octane action that awaits in the all-new Captain America: Cold War trailer, featuring never-before-seen artwork.

The saga will pay off story threads that have driven both titles including the surprising return of Ian Rogers, AKA Nomad; Sam Wilson’s intense conflict with Wakanda and White Wolf; and Bucky’s bold new mission as the New Revolution. When Bucky and White Wolf join forces and kidnap Ian Rogers in a twisted plan to unleash Dimension Z, will Steve and Sam see eye to eye on how to set things right? This globetrotting, espionage-fueled thriller with shocking twists and turns promises to be a milestone chapter in Captain America’s 80-year legacy that will impact both Steve and Sam’s future as shield-bearers. In the trailer, fans can spot Bucky and White Wolf making their deadly alliance, surprising betrayals as the battle lines are drawn, the massive armies of Dimension Z, and more!

Be there when the revolution begins in Captain America: Cold War Alpha #1 on April 12!

Friendships shattered. Feuds erupt. It’s the Captain America: Cold War final battle!

In the pages of Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Captain America: Symbol of Truth, Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson have embarked on separate thrilling journeys as Captain America, tackling new enemies and uncovering twisted conspiracies throughout the Marvel Universe. On April 12, their adventures will collide in an epic new crossover: Captain America: Cold War!

In explosive fashion, the saga will pay off story threads that have driven both Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Carmen Carnero’s Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Tochi Onyebuchi and R.B. Silva’s Captain America: Symbol of Truth including the surprising return of Ian Rogers, AKA Nomad; Sam Wilson’s intense conflict with Wakanda and White Wolf; and Bucky’s bold new mission as the New Revolution. It all begins on April 12 in Captain America: Cold War Alpha, but right now, fans can peek ahead at what’s in store during the six-part crossover’s final chapters in June.

In Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #13, guest artist Alina Erofeeva joins Kelly and Lanzing for the penultimate chapter of “Cold War”! Just when White Wolf thinks he’s gained the upper hand, Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers rally under the banner of Captain America. Meanwhile, Black Widow and Peggy Carter clash over what it means to be a hero – and whether Bucky Barnes is still someone worth saving.

In Captain AMerica: Cold War Omega #1, all three Captain America scribes team up with superstar artist Carlos Magno for the pulse-pounding “Cold War” finale! White Wolf has unleashed an army of Dimension Z monsters upon our world as a declaration of global war, and Team Cap’s only hope to stop it is to take him down for good. Meanwhile, Bucky Barnes deploys his final chess piece – Ian Rogers himself – to turn the situation in his favor. Lifelong friends battle alongside mortal enemies – and change the trajectory of their lives – in this stunning conclusion!

Then, join Onyebuchi and guest artist Zé Carlos for a special “Cold War” aftermath issue in Captain America: Symbol of Truth #14. Fresh from the battle with Bucky Barnes and White Wolf, Sam Wilson returns home to Harlem with battle scars and a renewed sense of focus. With Misty Knight by his side, he sets out to forge a new path – and maybe reunite with some old friends along the way.

Tensions erupt between Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson as Captain America: Cold War begins!

It’s all been leading to this! Last year, a new era of Captain America began as both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson picked up the shield and embarked on separate journeys in the pages of Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Carmen Carnero’s Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Tochi Onyebuchi and R.B. Silva’s Captain America: Symbol of Truth. This April, the two Captains will reunite for Captain America: Cold War, an explosive crossover event that will make them question everything they believe in…and each other.

First teased at New York Comic Con, Captain America: Cold War will be a pivotal chapter in the legendary 80-year history of Captain America. An espionage-fueled action thriller, the storyline will pay off various plot threads that have building up in the pages of both acclaimed titles including the rise of the mysterious Outer Circle and their shocking connection to Steve Rogers; the surprising return of Ian Rogers, AKA Nomad; Sam Wilson’s intense conflict with Wakanda and White Wolf; and Bucky’s bold new mission as the New Revolution.

Here’s what fans can expect when Cold War erupts in full force this April:

Don’t miss Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #11, a thrilling Cold War prelude issue! Captain America and the new Invaders may be free from M.O.D.O.C.’s mind control, but they are not yet guaranteed their lives. With the battle nearly won, the Outer Circle have arrived on the ground to collect their prize. It’s up to Steve Rogers to wrestle victory from the Power and finally end the Outer Circle’s invasion of Manhattan — but choices made at this critical point will alter Steve’s understanding of friendship and the stakes of his fight against the Outer Circle for good.

Then Kelly, Lanzing, and Onyebuchi team up with artist Carlos Magno to begin the revolution in Captain America: Cold War Alpha #1! Bucky Barnes is the Outer Circle’s New Revolution, and he has enacted his deadliest move yet — an alliance with Sam Wilson’s nemesis, the White Wolf. When Steve Rogers’ adopted son, Ian, A.K.A. Nomad, is abducted by someone Steve thought was a friend, he suspects Bucky’s hand at work and calls upon the people who know Ian best — Sam Wilson, Sharon Carter and Misty Knight — to help him get to the bottom of the attack. Has Bucky finally gone too far? Why has Nomad been taken, and what does it have to do with a portal to Dimension Z opening over a secret battleground in Alaska? Featuring a cover by Patrick Gleason.

In Captain America: Symbol of Truth #12, Part two of Cold War, White Wolf has used the power granted him by Bucky Barnes to take control of Dimension Z and unleash its creatures onto the Captains America. Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers are prepared to fight their way through the onslaught, but the Outer Circle has more stakes in this fight than our heroes realize. Can Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers agree on their priorities before they fall to this new threat? And what exactly does Bucky Barnes intend to do to Ian Rogers?
