Battle Chasers: Nightwar Comes to the Switch in May

Airship Syndicate has announced the Switch release date for Battle Chasers: Nightwar. The game will be released on May 15th. The video game was funded through a Kickstarter and while the Switch release wasn’t part of the original campaign, it’s been approved and now has a release date.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is based on the comic series Battle Chasers by Joe Madureira launched in 1998. The series suffered from extreme scheduling problems. Nine issues were released in four years. Originally published by WildStorm under its Cliffhange imprint, the series eventually moved to Image Comics in 2001.

The series saw nine issues released with a tenth solicited and not released. Madureira said he’ll be releasing issue #10 and two more issues. In October 2017, Madureira said the issue would be released in Spring 2018 with the new 3 issue arc focussing heavily on Garrison.
