Tension rises in new “Night of the Animated Dead” Images

Four newly released images reveal the intensity and fear factor across virtually every frame of Night of the Animated Dead, an animated remake of George A. Romero’s 1968 horror classic – now available on Digital, and coming to Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on October 5. 

The four new images spotlight four of the key players from Night of the Animated Dead: Judy (voiced by Katee Sackhoff), Ben (voiced by Dulé Hill), Barbara (Katharine Isabelle) and Harry (Josh Duhamel).

Four newly released images give greater insight into the mounting tension within Night of the Animated Dead, an animated remake of George A. Romero’s 1968 horror classic coming to Digital tomorrow – Tuesday, September 21 – and to Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on October 5. 

The four new images spotlight nearly all of the key characters in the film: Ben (voiced by Dulé Hill), Barbara (Katharine Isabelle), Harry (Josh Duhamel), Helen (Nancy Travis), Tom (James Roday Rodriguez), Johnny (Jimmi Simpson) and Sheriff McClelland (Will Sasso).

The animated recreation of George A. Romero’s 1968 horror classic is coming September 21, 2021 to Digital and October 5, 2021 to Blu-ray Combo Pack & DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

In Night of the Animated Dead, siblings Barbara and Johnny visit their father’s grave in a remote cemetery in Pennsylvania when they are suddenly set upon by zombies. Barbara flees and takes refuge in an abandoned farmhouse along with stranded motorist Ben and four local survivors found hiding in the cellar. Together, the group must fight to stay alive against the oncoming horde of zombies while also confronting their own fears and prejudices. 

Night of the Animated Dead features the voice talents of Josh Duhamel (Jupiter’s Legacy, Transformers), Dulé Hill (The West WingPsych), Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps), James Roday Rodriguez (A Million Little Things, Psych), Katee Sackhoff (The Mandalorian, Battlestar Galactica), Will Sasso (MadTV), Jimmi Simpson (Westworld) and Nancy Travis (Last Man Standing).

Revisit George A. Romero’s 1968 horror classic in an altogether unprecedented presentation as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Night of the Animated Dead, a new, star-studded animated recreation of the thriller coming September 21, 2021 to Digital and October 5, 2021 to Blu-ray Combo Pack & DVD.

Presented by The Long Game in association with Hemisphere Entertainment, Night of the Animated Dead is an animated adaptation of the 1968 horror classic and includes never-before-seen, exclusive animated scenes not found in the original live-action film. Night of the Animated Dead will be available on Digital, Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $19.99 SRP, Canada $24.99 SRP) and DVD (USA $14.99 SRP, Canada $19.99 SRP). Pre-order will be available beginning on August 10, 2021.
