Oni Press and Archie Comic Publications, Inc. have unveiled an extended look inside Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1, the latest in the stunning and fun-fueled new line of Archie comics coming from Oni Press this fall! Who’d ever want to be ordinary when you could be a teenage witch instead? Still reeling from the surprise revelation of her secret birthright and with Halloween just around the corner, high schooler Sabrina Spellman is honing her craft one hex at a time and figuring out how to balance her magical new life with the crushing responsibilities of being 16 years old. But when her feline familiar Salem drops a mythical trickster on Sabrina’s literal doorstep, she might not be able to keep her two worlds from smashing together like two busted pumpkins on All Hallow’s Eve. Tate Brombal and Soo Lee adapt Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein for the Christopher Chaos Universe in The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein

Dark Horse Comics and Tiny Onion present The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein, a one-shot that expands on the origin story of Adam Frankenstein. Written by Tate Brombal, illustrated by Soo Lee, colored by Patricio Delpeche, and lettered by Aditya Bidikar, this 56-page one-shot will be released in August 2026. It will also feature cover art by David Talaski, Filipe Andrade, and Fernando Blanco and an eight-page “Monsters in Love” short story by Mark Bouchard, Naomi Franq, Héctor Barros, and Aditya Bidikar as a flip-book with a special cover illustration by Kendra Wells.

The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein reveals the origins of Adam’s horrific creation under the knives of Victor Frankenstein. This epic tale thrillingly adapts Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein for the Chaos Universe and finally answers readers’ questions about the heartbreaking early life of Christopher Chaos’s mentor. The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein one-shot arrives in comic shops on August 26, 2026. It is now available for preorder from your local comic shop for $7.99.

This one-shot will also be collected in a paperback edition alongside The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos #7 and #8, which features another side story about Adam Frankenstein. The book, The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein (184 pages, 6.625 × 10.1875”), is now available for preorder for $24.99 and will be available in comic shops and bookstores on December 15, 2026.
