The Zeros Vol. 1

(W) Man Tsang (A) Man Tsang

Blending crime, high-stakes action, and personal reckoning, The Zeros explores what happens after the trigger is pulled… and the cost of walking away.

Once known as one of the deadliest assassins in the feared organization Karma, Pak Ling walked away from a life of violence after a mission ended in tragedy. For five years, he’s stayed hidden—trying to outrun the past he helped create.

But the past doesn’t stay buried.

When new threats emerge, Pak Ling is forced back into a world of covert operations, shadowy alliances, and unfinished business. As old enemies resurface and loyalties are tested, he must confront the choices that defined him—and decide whether redemption is truly possible.

Land of Ming Yi Vol. 1 is Coming This November From Nakama Press

Some legends are better left undisturbed. This November, Nakama Press invites readers into a world of ancient forces, powerful relics, and a prophecy that could determine the fate of an entire realm in Land of Ming Yi Vol. 1.

Created by Hong Kong-based author and illustrator Mimi Tsoi, with contributions by Ling Chau and lettering and translation by Book Buddy Media, the 240-page young adult OGN draws from Tsoi’s passion for mythology, philosophy, and visual storytelling. Founder of Ink Pen Creative Limited, Tsoi brings her interests in Chinese philosophy and numerology into a coming-of-age fantasy where ancient forces, powerful relics, and the balance of Yin and Yang shape the fate of an entire realm.

In a world ruled by the balance of Yin and Yang, a disastrous ritual shatters the last of the golden birds, awakening an ancient force that once plunged the land into darkness. As chaos rises, a group of unlikely teenagers is drawn into a prophecy they barely understand.

Yau Yan, an outcast tied to a powerful relic; Mo Kau, drawn to forbidden knowledge; Bei Fu, obsessed with legends; and Mao Yu, desperate to prove himself—each must confront hidden truths and rising magic as the world tilts toward catastrophe.

Blending elemental power, Chinese mythology, and coming-of-age adventure, The Land of Ming Yi begins an epic journey in which fate, friendship, and courage determine the future of their realm.

Rooted in the balance of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, Land of Ming Yi Vol. 1 brings together mythology, magic, friendship, and cosmic stakes for young adult readers looking for expansive fantasy worlds and character-driven adventure.

Land of Ming Yi Vol. 1 goes on sale November 10, 2026, in paperback (ISBN: 9781545831281 | $10.99).
