Julio Anta and Daniel Irizarri bring El Chupacabra to Life in Beast of Borikén

Dark Horse Comics and Tiny Onion present Beast of Borikén, a thrilling new tale in the True Weird series featuring el Chupacabra. Beast of Borikén is a five-issue miniseries written by Eisner Award-nominated author Julio Anta, illustrated by Daniel Irizarri, colored by Patricio Delpeche, and lettered by Lucas Gattoni. The Sacrificers #16

James Robinson and Phil Hester bring a world of Victorian Heroes and Villains to life in The Adventures of Lumen N.

Dark Horse Comics presents The Adventures of Lumen N., a new steampunk adventure set at the turn of the 20th century written by James Robinson, penciled by Phil Hester, inked by Marc Deering, colored by Bill Crabtree, and lettered by Jim Campbell. Issue #1 will be available in September 2025 and will feature main cover art by Hester and variant covers by Mark Buckingham, Duncan Fegredo, Max Fiumara, and Dan Brereton.

James Tynion IV’s “True Weird” line expands with new Cryptid Tales, starting with Let This One Be a Devil

Dark Horse Comics and Tiny Onion present Let This One Be a Devil, the first story in a new set of True Weird tales from James Tynion IV and various other creators. Let This One Be a Devil is a four-issue miniseries that explores the legend of the Jersey Devil written by Tynion and Steve Foxe, illustrated by Piotr Kowalski, colored by Brad Simpson, and lettered by Tom Napolitano. The first issue will feature covers by Gavin Fullerton, Kowalski, and Max Fiumara and will also feature a True Weird short comic written by Rachel Deering, illustrated by Jesse Lonergan, and lettered by Aditya Bidikar.

In the early 1900s, Henry Naughton returns home to the family farm in the swampy Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. One night, he encounters a strange predator stalking the woods. This sends the young scholar on a research project that uncovers the legend of Mother Leeds and the terrible birth of the Jersey Devil in 1735.

André Lima Araújo joins The Sacrificers as guest artist

The Giant Generator series The Sacrificers—by writer Rick Remender and artist Max Fiumara, colorist Dave McCaig, and published by Image Comics—will welcome a guest artist André Lima Araújo to the team. Araújo will be on deck for the series interiors of issues #10-12, the first of which will kick off a new story arc in July.

Early uncolored, unlettered inks from the upcoming The Sacrificers #10 hint at what’s to come when Remender and Araújo join forces to tell the tale of Princess Soluna’s fall from grace. During New York Comic Con 2023, Image Comics and Giant Generator Studios announced that a massive lineup of talent that have signed exclusive deals for upcoming projects with Rick Remender’s Giant Generator line. This will all lead to a huge rollout of exciting creator-owned launches for the line.
