Marvel’s Spider-Man Swings from Video Games to Comics with Marvel’s Spider-Man: City of War this March

The fan-favorite and critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man has taken the world by storm – and now the video game’s web-slinger is leaping into the pages of Marvel comics! Starting this March, all your favorite Spidey characters are presented in new and surprising scenarios as Peter Parker’s civilian and superhuman worlds collide in the game’s original, action-packed story!

After protecting his beloved New York City for eight years, Spidey finally has the opportunity to put Wilson Fisk behind bars for good. But removing the Kingpin from the mean streets of Manhattan has its own repercussions…as a new threat, the mysterious crime lord called Mister Negative, rises to fill the vacuum and threaten all that Peter holds dear, including the lives of not only his beloved Aunt May but also his former girlfriend, and current Daily Bugle investigative reporter, Mary Jane Watson.

Including all-new story moments never before seen in the game as well as bonus behind the scenes content, Marvel’s Spider-Man: City of War #1 is the first in a series of new stories from the growing Marvel Gamerverse as we press start on a brand-new Marvel Universe this March!

Marvel’s Spider-Man: City of War #1 is written by Dennis Hopeless with art by Michele Bandini, main cover by Clayton Crain and variant covers by Tim Tsang, David Nakayama, Gerardo Sandoval, and Adi Granov.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining, the Third DLC Gets a Teaser

In the tension-filled finale to Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, the web-slinger must rely on unlikely allies to protect the city from calamity.

Silver Sable has stormed back to reclaim her stolen Sable International tech. With New York Police Chief Yuri Watanabe on administrative leave following her exploits against Hammerhead, Spider-Man will have to rely on unlikely allies to keep Marvel’s New York safe.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining features new missions, new and upgraded enemy and crime types, along with upgraded Hammerhead bases and storyline quests. There will also be new trophies, challenges, and three new suits for players to unlock.

Playstation is partnering with Sony Pictures on the upcoming film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in theaters December 14. We are offering a special promotion where users who pre-order the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film from PlayStation Store will receive a voucher for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining, a dynamic theme, and avatars as their pre-order incentive.

The new DLC includes Peter Parker’s suit from the movie. Pre-orders for the movie officially start December 14 and then you’ll be able to unlock and swing around in the film’s version of Peter Parker’s suit once Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining launches!

You can pre-order Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining for $9.99 USD MSRP on PlayStation Store. Of course, if you haven’t tried any of the post-launch content yet, you also can buy the Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps bundle of all three chapters for $24.99 USD MSRP and start playing the first two chapters now.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining is available for download on the PlayStation 4 system December 21, 2018.
